Do You Believe In Aliens???

YES! Of course I do. How can we humans be so arrogant as to believe that WE are the ONLY life form or planet with life on it in the entire universe, when we haven't even been able to search the entire universe ourselves to see? And I'm dying to meet my first one yet. Although, you never know, there may already be a few here on mylot.

i do believe in aliens.because there are not only humans but also aliens.but they maybe in another planets.maybe they don't live with oxygen and may live with hydrogen outside earth.happy my lotting

I think it is possible that there are aliens. The universe is so enormous and we are just a speckle in it. Maybe there are other lifeforms in other planets or galaxies. Maybe, there can be another "earth" with human beings too but they developed in a different way depending on their atmosphere.

I'm pretty certain that we are not alone in this huge Universe so yes, I do believe in aliens in one form or another! I think that there's still a lot that we don't understand about our own Universe and the fact that there are billions upon billions of stars, well, it seems highly likely that there's other intelligent life out there. I sometimes tune into S.E.T.I (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) and I think that they play a valid role in our world. I sometimes reflect on what it's going to be like when they finally receive that long awaited signal from another world! Who will be the ambassador for planet Earth? Would it be President Obama? If alien contact was made now then I'm pretty sure that the president of the United States would handle the communication between our two worlds. Then again it could well be someone from the United Nations. Whatever happens though it would be a life changing event and I'm sure that long term religious beliefs would crumble into nothing. It would certainly change our world forever. The alien race may be extremely advanced and if they are nice then they may want to impart their knowledge to us so that we can learn and grow as a human race. I really hope that I'm still alive when contact is made but this may not be the case! Andrew

I believe that life on other planets is possible. Whether aliens have visited here is another question. Most of the stories abut alien visitors make them humanoid or human like. When you consider all the diversities of life on this planet now and in the past, why would they have to humanoid? The could be insect-like or reptilian. Perhaps they are just bacteria. To travel through space, they would need some human-like characteristics. The would need something like hands with dexterity to build and operate things. (In the Starship Trooper Movies they have giant bugs but they don't explain how the bugs get from planet to planet. In the book the bugs had a race of human-like helpers called "skinnies.) There could be intelligent live that is unable to build things like fish or unable to move about like inteligent plants. Then again there could like forms we can't even imagine

Sure! And for the same reason, the Universe is too big. I don't think God would create so many planets just so the Universe is decorated and preatty, everything has meaning, it's us that didn't learn everything yet. Sometimes I imagine the type of aliens there must be in this huge space. I saw one thing once, and that's when I started to believe. I was eleven, so old enough to remember and to know I understood things already, that I wasn't imagining all this, and I saw this triangle shape, all in black up in the sky, but really, really up. I started to think if it was an alien craft when out of the sudden it moved, but so fast like nothing I ever seen, faster than the faster of the insects. It just run to the right and disappeared.

for all the reasons you have stated, I also believe in aliens. have they visited earth? Well, I have said that my dad was half alien - I mean, he was allergic to morning and sunshine, and I'm allergic to LOTS of foods, and that would make me a quarter alien - but I really don't know if I really believe they have visited - I sure don't believe in the abduction stories.

I totally agree with you, it just doesn't make common sense that we are alone in all the vastness of Space.

Yes I believe there are aliens out there in the universe. To many people have seen things for there not to be. Also the government covered up a big thing that happened in Roswell, New Mexico. I truly believe something is going on and I hope before I die that the truth comes out.

I believe we are not the only living creatures in this big,wide universe.there might be planets far,far away from us that can sustain life.we never know.the universe is so big.it will be a little lonely if there is only one planet which has living creatures on it.

Existence of life in other planet is not so unbelievable,I mean we actually don't even know the exact numbers of all the star system in the universe so why not believe that there is life somewhere out there.And we ourselves actually is the proof that life is possible in other planet.One thing for sure, people/alien on other palnet whatever we might call them,I think they may well be very different from us,culture,the way they live and other things...and of course most of all their LOOKS.
