How do you make good friends?

When I am making new friends and meeting new people I usually try to act silly and make a few jokes to lighten the mood and that usually works so I ask this question to you how do make good friends?

good question. sometimes you can make friends with the most unlikely people. I like to joke and laugh and be mellow. I'm easygoing.. I hang around people who are like me, but still very different. we may talk and get to know each other more. We may hang out more and do things together. I dont go around making friends, like saying "hi, whats your name?". Someone usually comes up to me and may start a conversation or make a remark.
