Do you give compliments to your girl?

Some women are annoyed of other women who look sexier than them. They even get to fights about looks. It has been studied that women who are insecure of their looks would learn to love themselves if a guy/man compliments or desires or worships her despite of her appearance. Despite the flabs above the waist and the lost of fine skin because of age, women still boast about how sexy they are because their men or other men desires their looks still.
Men: Have you given much compliment to the looks of your girl even if she does not have the perfect model characteristics? Or have you desired for a woman who is not physically sexy?
Women: Do you like to be complimented on your looks? How do you feel when your man or other men gives you compliments on your looks? Do you feel more sexier than ever?
This is not a survey, I just want to know how different men/women from different communities from around the world share their views on this matter.

I don't just give my girl compliments,I shower her with them-so much,such that sometimes she gets irritated.She thinks I am not being true and am faking.But you know what,I actually mean it when I say all what I do.I am crazy about her and for me,she is the best looking girl in the World...:).Of course,the others might not think the same but then,who cares?I think sometimes,its good to show to people that you care and compliments is one way of doing that.So never let your girlfriend fall short of them.Believe me,that is one thing she won't be able to live without and is a must...:)

Yeah, my girl thinks so too if I give her compliments on how she looks everyday but it's up to her to take all that I'm saying. It's the way we express sometimes. Girls should be pampered with not only compliments but care and love. It's the most things that I could give her because I couldn't afford much of materials things.

I always give compliments to my beautiful Cuddle Bunny, it makes her feel good, and I like to do because it makes her feel good.

definitely, we have to give compliments
without saying a word we cannot expect others to understand our feelings
and also at times to please others also we have to do that
suppose some one is our close friend then we have to encourage her na?
lastly by appreciating them, we make them a bit confident and the will try to look even
more great, which makes us even more happy.....

I agree with you that women really have battle with looks. This can sometimes lead to jealousy and insecurity. But if the guy will make her feel special despite her weaknesses and flaws, she will learn to appreciate herself without comparing with other girls.
I am a woman and I must say that I really love it when my man praises me. My self-esteem is enhanced and the more I feel loved. But compliments does not have to be dishonest, like telling your gf that she has a perfect model charcteristics when in fact, she's fat and short-legged. Compliments must be true and from the heart so the girl will appreciate...

Oh, I'm not saying to lie to give your girl a good feeling. Even if girls are really not that sexy when they start to gain weight, you could use a comment that is really honest and will not hurt her feelings and even will turn out as a compliment. I could give my girl this comment if she's gaining weight: "Hey love, you look sexier today with your fitted shirt than when it was loose when you first wore it. I love those bumps getting very noticed now!" lol! You have told her that she gained body fats but you have given her a good feeling right?

I am a woman and I am happily married. I am not a person who gets jealous or cares what other women do. However, it is nice to be complimented sometimes, not just on the way that you look, but on other things too.

Yeah, not only the looks that needs compliments. On housewives, they need compliments on their accomplishments inside the house too, not only from the husband but from the kids too. A simple compliment of the way the dinner was deliciously cooked could bring a wife/mother to the clouds right? And even the way the living room is beautifully decorated. Simple compliments on simple things around the house could bring happiness to the housewife.

I compliment my girl no matter what.She is an angel in my eyes and no matter how she looks I will continue complementing her.Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.Her looks and beauty lies in her heart.I guess all the men are like this.They consider their girls their angels no matter how their appearance changes with time.

Every man is obliged to compliment their girl! If you really love a woman then she would always be the most beautiful girl on earth no matter how she looks. Their may be other girls who may come that looks more beautiful but they would be just ordinary girls as long as you love your woman. Give compliment every day and don't hurt your girl is the most beautiful thing to give her more than any material thing on this world.

hi basqui I am a woman but I do think we women really bloom when our partners compliment us on our looks or personality or hair or skin or what have you. I mean doesnt it stand to reason if say you get compliments from your partner, basqui, that you will feel like a pet cat who purrs when being petted. It is the human instinct in us to feel good when someone gives us a compliment. The last couple of days I have received compliments on my long hair which at my age has some here suggesting a trip to the beauty parlor. but I love those compliments and always thank

YEs, women loves it really. I casually get a kiss from it or something more from my girl. Women should not be complimented on looks alone but also on gestures and chores done. Just like on the way they cook, for housewives, don't you agree?
Oh, you should post a picture for your hair now. You might get a compliment from me too.

I love to receive compliments from my husband, and he compliments me all the time. It boosts my confidence though I am aware that I kind of let myself go a little bit when it comes to weight. I tell him this but he says that I am not fat, lol.
In any case, I'll be working on my weight for myself (as a confidence boost) and maybe by this summer I will be back to my Happy weight, lol.

my bf doesn't have a problem with me being overweight, but for the past year hasn't been interested in smex due to his growing belly. He is the one who doesn't feel smexy anymore, yet he isn't changing his diet. At this rate, we may never have smex again.

I think that there is not a woman alive that doesn't like to be complimented on her looks from time to time. However, I also don't feel like it is necessary to be constantly complimented because when that happens it feels like it is forced to me. I like for a compliment to be genuine and the only time that I really feel that a compliment is genuine is when it is spontaneous. So, in summary I feel that it is nice to get compliments, but not constantly.

Yeah, sometimes forced compliments or unsincere ones are easy to detect because it's less appealing. spontaneous could be surprising and give more feelings to the compliments. what do you give in return to a compliment? a simple thank you only or something?

There are times when my girlfriend feels very low specially when she thinks she's fat. I tell her I love her and for me she is the sexiest woman in the world for me. She responds you are just sweet talking me and I reply why would I lie to you. Anyway I tell her that not just to compliment her and boost her self esteem I tell her that I really think and see her that way. I love my girlfriend and I don't care how she looks like as long as she doesn't change from someone I know to someone I don't know

I do give compliments to my girl to make her feel wanted. Girls need these compliments for their esteem. Sometimes being a good boyfriend, it is a duty to compliment your girlfriend even though she is isn't exactly a bearer of a perfect body.
Desired a girl who is not physically sexy? - NOPE, I am a health buff and if I have girl friend who doesn't have a healthy sexy body, it ruins my reputation.

Yeah, giving compliments have even more benefits to us guys coz, they will feel sexier that prizes come in smooches and hugs and more.
Oh, being a health buff really needs reputation, but haven't you got girlfriends before your career that were physically challenged?
