Hi to everyone, I am a gamer and I want to have a job that I really like. I've been seaching and surfing and I found out that this job exist. I heard this in nintendo site but sad to say I live in the philippines. Others said that this job is hard because you earn little and all you have to do is test the specific area for 1 week just to report the bugs. I'm not sure with this because I haven't tried this. I really want to be a game tester and a game designer( if I have a knowledge with that). Anyone who heard this job or on this job can you share your experience. Thanks, happy mylotting.

I think the payment is per hour like $15. Check this out gamestester.com( here you can find a job but the salary is not shown). The other site is that you have to pay for membership fee ($35 not sure) and you will earn $150 a day( that's what they say). I think it's good for the start.

well i had a friend that was super good at age of empires and he got the job of game tester at the "good keep in the glory" assembler studios. i think they have to be well recognized and with good perspective of programing to be a game tester... not only a video game is enough. in the other hand one of my best friends is working as a game master at blizzard and that is a more worthy work hehe

A lot of the game testing jobs you hear about online are fake. The one for nintendo is not because I have seen it but I believe they either weren't looking for testers, or maybe I just didnt' feel like applying when I last came across it. Online I've read that you can make $10 - $20 per hour with testing video games. I've read or heard somewhere though that most of the game testers are already employed and most likely had a hand in making the game as well, so that they know what they're looking for and are most likely the ones to get to test the game. I've heard that if you test a game you get to keep the game, though if there's a bunch of glitches in it I don't see where you would want to keep that version. Keep looking, there may be some international offers, or Nintendo is from Japan so maybe you could find some offers exclusively for nintendo, and your just not looking in quite the right place for your Region.
