Have you ever seen those political ads in facebook? How about the black propagandas thrown to the presidentiables from their rival politician (I assumed because this is without a doubt from their rivals). I feel ashamed that Filipinos do this and telling this or showing it to the whole facebook community. Are they that desperate to win the elections? For me, advertising has never been wrong if only these are brought out in the right places at the right time. Too much of it though are not good anymore, especially so if you are attacking your rival in the wrong way. Those who are running for office should also be men enough to fight right and straight and must not do back stabbing or the like. I just hope this whole election mess be over.

A lot, Lucky for me I stop opening my facebook. I hate politics. If I'm a politician I will pass a law against term extension. Like here in the Philippines. Theirs almost 80 million plus filipinos. But we have almost same senators, same mayors, same congressman, or either its his father, his son, his wife, etc. that will run for next election. For me to solve this kind of case. Pass a law that theirs no reelection, no extension of term. You can only be mayor once, you can only be congressman once, governor once. All of it you must only serve once. Theirs a lot of people in the Philippines and I think their is a lot who is much nationalist and God fearing that all of our current elected officials. .. Now if theirs a president who has a balls to pass that kind of law then I will vote for him or her.

well, that's a great idea. maybe i should talk to the Presidencial candidate and see what he thinks about it. although, there's going to be spiked among other politicians regarding this possible suggestion be favored, but you know it's a challenge.

I think they are following the tactics that Obama used during his campaign for presidency in US. He used social networking to be able to reach those voters that are into this sites. I think same is being used by the many in here. But I guess this has come into getting personal with each other already. I guess that cannot be avoided since there seems to be very short time before the election time comes by. Actually, I am a fan on one of the candidates and so far their campaign is not that bad and the members are not that aggressive against their competitor. What I know is that there is one presidential candidate that has facebook account and he tried to make me a fan of his account in there without asking for my permission. I just knew that I was a fan of him. I got out of that fan site because I do not remember that I applied to become a fan of that candidate.

because these politicians, these candidates have a lot of resources to do this so we cannot just say, it is a shame as they know there are more filipinos hooked on facebook. they know that there are still more filipinos who don't have tv or not so hooked on tv but so addicted with the internet, like us. besides, they cannot just do character assassination on tv, and they know they can do it on facebook.

Hello sharlionse, yes, it is sometimes depressing, isn't it. I don't know what others think but as for me, that's why am choosing the amboy instead or Noynoy or Villar because he doesn't spend his money to campaign and yet he inspires a lot of people and he does have a vision for the country. i hate watching news that are not worth for the election. it proves how bias the media is in not giving us the right issues
