Astral projection, healing and the rest of that "unused" 90%.

Remember in gradeschool they taught us that we only use 10% of our brain? Well, I believe that we use the 90% all the time, whether or not we choose to acknowledge it. When we sleep, our energy hovers a few inches above our physical bodies (astral projection.) I think anyone can learn to do astral projection (have an out-of-body-experience.) Takes practice like everything else we learn. As far as healing goes... when a loved one is ill, they are usually in your thoughts and you are wishing that they would get better, and you are also invisioning different ways they could recover, whatever it may be - like medicine or the doctor or a magic cloud that rains healing drops, etc. Well, what do you think is happening? You are helping that person heal faster, by picturing it happening in your mind, no matter the crazy method, because in your mind anything can happen. I believe healing can also be learned by anyone, with practice. It all has to do with our energy, and the energies of everything alive or inanimate in this reality and the use of that energy. This is only 2 topics on that mysterious part of the brain that deals with our energy. No wonder it takes up 90%, it's very powerful! What are your thoughts and experiences on the matter?

hi there. astral projection is a long shot. of course, scientist would put everything into scientific explanation. they would come up with surveys, reports, experiments, numbers and all. soon enough, they would make a quantitative research on God. but you are right, only 10-15% of full brain capacity is used in a lifetime. a big number of this 10% is spent on bodily function controlled by neurons. one of the reasons why it is only 10% is because we have billions of brain cells. and they do not all work at the sametime. it only depends on the functions of the body. now to have all of them working at the same time could be a little different. undiscovered possibilities are yet to come. who knows, astral projection is actually possible if 100% of brain activity happens. yey! OR... 100% brain activity limited within the frame of one's body might is equal to upgraded insanity. and yet again, we don't really know. let's just put that problem to 3-4 generations after us when they actually had this thing researched. ;-)

Ya, when you are at the age of ten you only use 10 % of your brain. When you turn into 11 and percentage also change into 11. Ya we are learning.. so percentage will also growing.. when you reach 30 you are using 30% of your brain... I think they taught the right thing. -vine.
