That's a very interesting topic! It seems to me that there are things we can control and other things that are just imposed on us and we have to do the best we can with them. We also never know when life can suddenly end. We had no choice who our parents were and the environment we were born in. Still, once we are born and grow then we have much choice. How serious we are going to take our education. Choosing our friends. Will we do a lot of reading or watch a lot of television. So again, there are things we can control and things that are beyond controlling. But ultimately what we do with our lives is up to us. What I will do today and tomorrow if I'm still here will be up to me. Will I contribute in a positive way to the universe or in a negative way? It's my decision. I think, therefore I choose. I decide my ultimate destiny. Yes, I do believe in God and He has given us the power to choose much but not all. Thanks for raising this interesting topic!

I believe we are given a starting point in our lives and we go from there. If you're born poor then you start poor. If you're born rich then you start rich. Then it's entirely your choice on what to do with it. If you want to improve it then do it. If you wanna end it then it's your choice.
