Tell me what you think of MySpace

I was browsing through videos and i was surprise to view kids who were so addicted to their MySpace accounts and activities. My husband asked me what's in MYspace for these kids to be reacting violently towards their brother or sister when they get teased about their pages? My general understanding of MySpace is it's more like Facebook,or is it? It's a social media website too, isnt it? I didn't try to signup just to satisfy my curiosity of what's in it. I could just post a blog and ask around,than get hooked too. So tell me what you think of MySpace.what's in it? do they also have games like FBook? what makes it tick with other users?
