As most of us allready know Poland lost it s president, and some other important state persons. Their plane crashed in a bitter irony while they were on their way to comemorate the death of polish soldiers and officers murdered by Stalin in the second world war. A sad day for Poland and a sad day for the world. My toughts to this country.

It's terrible, drkraven. The New York Times says Poland also lost the commanders of its military, the head of the central bank, and other top advisers as well as the president and his wife. In Warsaw, people are laying flowers and leaving lit candles in front of the presidential palace. A great loss!

It is ever so sad that in Poland there was a plane crash. It is terrible that Poland lost its president and some other important state people. All Polish people must feel that their country is having a very sad time at the moment. I have a Polish friend that I met when I was traveling in Slovakia. Recently I got to know a Polish lady that moved to my home country six months ago. My thoughts are with the people of Poland today.
