can anybody share his knowledge regarding blogging as a tool to earn extra money

HI, mylotters! this month only that i discovered that blogging can help me earn extra money. i just heard it only on one of the tv shows. I love writing and iam interested with it. but my problem is that i don't know if which i the best site to register, what i will do totally except from mylot, that now i learned... can anybody share his knowledge about it??? thanks
