What is the last fun thing you did?

I guess fun is a relative term. What is fun to one person may not be fun to another. So when is the last time you had fun? Playing a game, going to a concert, meeting a friend for lunch, watching a funny movie with someone...

hi ambie pam well I think that would be last Nov.15th when my friend Nelda took me out to the dedication service of our new Tustin Library which was held on my birthday, kind of neat, course they did not know it was my birthday, and here I never got to work in the new one, it was built smack on the spot of the old one but is so gorgeous and modern inside with attractive modern lighting and tons of computers , so many more than we had when I worked in the old one. I got to meet again after several years the same old friends on the staff that I had when I worked in the old library. we hugged in a group hug, us four ladies ranging from 70 to 83, and people looked on and smiled ,we all had tears in our eyes. then Nelda took me out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, I remember I had spaghetti and meatballs she insisted I pickout my favorite, well for that day it was spaghetti and meat balls. the whole day was so much fun,so sentimental, the new library was just a dream for so many years but the people of tustin donated tons of money plus it was matched by the county and we did get our dream after all. now I came back here of course, with tears as I so miss Tustin, after all it had been my home for so many years and to be dumpted out and into this tiresome, tiring retirement home just because we became homeless, well I am grateful to be here instead of loose on the street but my soul longs to be in my own apt still.

I had fun Thursday...I went and played golf for the first time in months. And I had a couple of pars and bogeys. That was fun. The double bogeys, triple bogeys and quadruple bodeys weren't fun. Think I need to play golf more often...

Well, last weekend was fun, I got to meet you, and spend time with lots of my family. This week is fun, my son, unfortunately, is cleaning out his house after a split up, but he gave me this huge wall unit, and I am filling it with a lot of books of course, and some of my pretty knick knacks. This morning we drove over thirty miles to a yard sale, and I got an antique oil lamp made of brass and a copper basket to carry logs in and a cast iron dutch oven. Fun is where you make it. I have also spent a while this afternoon doing up some of my "recycled" crafts, so I can post about them on Gather. I have been taking pictures, but I have to find my card reader.

I am in a frame of mind right now to only hold on to the goodies and send the other things that are just extra to our reuse center. I also have some stuff I should list on Ebay since that is what I bought it for, then did not follow through.

One of my all-time favorite comedy series is Fawtly Towers, starring John Cleese and Connie Booth. It was a British comedy series from the 1970's, only having 12 episodes. I rented them from the library and watched them with my step-daughter. I haven't seen her laugh so much for a long time, and me along with her. There are a few episodes that the more you watch them, the funnier they get. Since we just finished watching them last night, that's the last fun thing I did. What about you?

I went out to eat last night. I always consider that fun. I live alone and I get tired of eating by myself at home all the time. I went to the beauty shop yesterday and I consider it a treat to go out to eat after I have my hair colored once a month. This is also a time when I just eat whatever I want instead of staying on a diet, lol! Kathy.

Yes, it did look good, if I should say so. Yes, diets do get pretty boring after awhile. I hope you are doing good with yours. Kathy.

Hi Ambie, the last fun things i did was hit the highest note of one of my favorite songs of aegis. a band hit really high pitch music. it was terrible and fun. i even stood up the bench just to reach the note and add some fun to my family challenging me that i can do it...and i did.

This is so funny, LOL! I do a lot of singing, myself, and I know what you mean about hitting high notes. I'm glad you could reach it standing on the bench. It sounds like you really had fun with your family as well doing it. Kathy.

Well I love to watch movies and that is the last fun thing I did especially with this crazy cold weather we have been having, things have been really to just watch things I love or new ones. Just curl up with the blanket and do that all day sometimes too.

Well, I guess that has to be yesterday! The weather was really warm and the sun was shining beautifully! I went out cycling and this was a lot of fun! I'm going to do the same today as it's going to be another warm day. I wouldn't say that I'm a social butterfly but I did meet some new people two days ago and we went to Leicester Square in London and had a drink together and then went to a cinema to watch the movie Precious! This was different from my normal routine but I'm pleased that I did it all the same! I guess it's nice to do different things from time to time, it widens our horizens I guess! Andrew

This may not sound fun to some ppl but to me it was so, here it is. First, let me tell you I just had surgery for pancreatic cancer and could not spend alot of time with my kids or hubby. So, now that I can I am making up for lost time. My fun thing was my kids wanted to go to this teen hangout where they have video games to play. I asked them if I could go not as a bossy parent but just to hang-out with them. They said, "Sure, mom!" We went and I got to meet some of their friends and listen to their music and even watch them play some games. They told everyone this is my mom be nice to her, she just got out of the hospital. They where careful not to get to ruff playing around like teens do. But, they where all nice and friendly. I really had fun and felt like a teen myself again. In a way I wish I was so I could spend more time with them all they are very nice. They invited me to come back anytime and said, "I was a cool mom!" Some even said, "I wish my mom was like you or I wish you was my mom!" I told them anytime they had a problem I would be happy to give them mom advice. LOL We did have a nice time though! You should try it if you have teens. Hand out with them one time as a friend not a parent and see what you learn about your own teen. But, let them invite you don't force it. Good Luck! Remember you was a teen once too! *Peace and Love get's you through everything in Life*

Sorry to hear u have been sick. I hope the surgery was a success & u are on the mend. Be glad your teens wanted u to go w/them. I think that is great & unusual. My sons would have never wanted me to do that when they were teens or even now, lol. I think that says alot for u & your kids. Take care of yopurself. hugs.

I don't really remember if I minded being around my parents when I was a teen. I mean I'm 29, so it wasn't that long ago, but I think I didn't mind. I was kind of shy and didn't hang around too many people at all if it wasn't at school or church. They used to have to force me to go to my youth group activities.

Two night in succession, I went out with my friends from Elementary. We always have so much fun because one of them is a an absolute clown. He never fails to tickle us with his jokes, and funny stories especially when we bring up or reminisce our elementary days. The other day, we watched CLASH OF THE TITANS, but it seemed like we enjoyed the company more than we did the movie. After that, we went to the wharf and had some more funny talks while we ate ice cream and "BALOT". It's a cooked/boiled duck egg still with the fetus inside.Sounds disgusting, and reminds me of abortion but it's actually very tasty.

Less than half an hour ago. I make a point of having fun frequently through the day with my two furbabies to show them how much I love them. So I raspberry their tummies to make them play growl, or I tickle them, or I chase them around the house..and they love the attention I give them. :)

Flyfish in Boracay!!! one of the best rides I ever had.. in case you haven't heard it yet, its a fun water activity at the beach, there were three of us sitting on a flat air filled raft-like boat that looks like a big manta ray, with only a hand sling to hold on to, and a speed boat drags it all the way throughout the middle of the sea with all the crazy flips and turns that you can't imagine.. and we were like screaming and laughing all throughout the 30 minute ride.. after that, we didn't realize how our body got so much scratches and bumps, and one of us even pee in the middle of the ride.. that was so much fun! I actually did that just last week during my summer trip in Boracay, after I came home, I woke up very sick the next morning.. that was probably a really very rough ride..lol

I believe that we should adopt a mindset in which we'll always see fun in everything we do even the stressful ones. But if you're asking what's the last anti-stress thing I did, Uhm.. It's when I bathe my dog.

I went to my uncle's birthday party and met an old classmate and guy from the hood. We talked about old times and it refreshed me. It reminded me of my childhood when I used to have lots of fun.
