When was the last time you had a date with your spouse?

The last time I went out on a date with my husband was probably when our 8 year old was a couple of months old. He works weird hours and I'm usually busy taking care of the kids and the house so it's really hard to get together. It has hurt our relationship a bit but not to where we hate each other. We still care about each other very much but we would like to have a day without the kids. I think every relationship needs to have a date night where it's just the two of you and no one else. It helps get the two people connected again and updated on what has happened during the week without any interruptions.

We had a date almost everyday before we had our baby. Now it's only about once a week if I am lucky LOL. We are so into the baby and sometimes forget that we should have our own quality time together. But we are working on it, the last time we had a date is yesterday. It was a nice quick meal, but it did just as good :)

Yes, having the chance to spend some time with my beloved used to be much rarer until we recognized the importance of taking that time together.
Once you have done it a few times you really recognize the impact it has in renewing the feelings inside.

I agree, a couple should spend quality time with each other - just the two of them. My husband and I make sure that we go out to bond and to be with each other once or twice a week. We would dine outside, shop the groceries together, or just have a fun joy ride around the city. That way, we can reminisce those days when we started dating. It made me remember how I blushed that day he first said he loves me.
