yeah of course to feel better and comfortable..but sometimes i just take a half bath i don't shower my head only my body because it takes time to let your hair dry since we've got hair dryer.

Oh yes - now it is summer here and doing hard work through out the day will be vanished if I have a good shower just before sleep.

hi maryantilok,
if i perspire a lot or if i'm dirty it's difficult to get a good sleep because i would be scratching and turning around. over here where we live its humid and warm. showering before sleep therefore does help me to sleep comfortably. but it has to be a warm shower.

I always take a shower before going to sleep, to feel clean, fresh and comfortable all through the night. Although, nowadays, since it's summertime in our country, I don't only take a shower before going to sleep, but everytime I got awaken by sweating a lot from very hot weather.

With the intense summer heat here in my country, it is a must to take a bath or shower before you go to bed so that you feel fresh. I feel icky when I don't take a shower before going to bed, I guess it has become a force of habit even if it isn't summer. I feel more refreshed and relaxed after taking a shower.

There are days I have to admit that I do shower at night before going to bed. I mean if I feel really dirty at night I know I won't get a good night sleep. So I tend to feel that need to get all cleaned up. I love it but most days to be sure I do just have it in the morning. That is a must for me, I mean I can not do a thing in the morning without that shower. It just does not feel the same.

not every night. but when the weather is like the one that we have now, too hot and you always gets perspired and sweat, it won't make me feel any better if i don't take a bath before going to bed. besides, it would be awkward for you to sleep beside your partner on bed.

I usually don't take a shower anymore. I don't know, I just don't feel so comfortable getting myself wet at night. I want to stay dry when I get into my bed. IT is not really hygienic but I don't care.

Yes mary, you are right, a sleep after taking a bath can actually be pretty nice, people recommend to take bath when feeling sleepy. It would actually help me sleep better lol. Yeah it would be nice to have a bath before going to bed, but at the same time it should be done with care, let the hair completely before sleeping, sleeping with wet hair isn't good and it could actually make you sick but yeah in summers it could be a different thing but still yeah it would make us sleep tight.

Yeah, I have the same habit as you, especially in winter. Taking shower before going to bed could keep myself warm, which could help me fall asleep easily. Another advantage is that I don't need to turn on the air-conditioner, which could save a lot of energy.

It depends upon the situation. If it is too hot then I take a shower, otherwise I don't because I don't want to waste water. I take a bath in the morning and that's all. I just wash and change before going to bed so that I feel more comfortable.

That s a waste of water :) you should consider reading something about saving water and how much it helps the planet :P
I usually take one shower/day in the colder seasons, and as many as i can during the summer...
As for habbits before sleeping i prefer tea :P

i have a shower after i've cooked tea and hoovered, because i can't sit down at night and watch telly unless i'm in my pj's,and i can't put my pj's on until i've had a shower, even if i've had one earlier on in the day i still have to have a second one later on

I don't take a shower before I go to bed unless I've been working in the yard or doing something outdoors during the day. I prefer to take a shower in the morning. It helps me wake up and get ready for the day. In the summer, it's not uncommon for me to take a shower in the morning and in the evening, depending on what I've been doing during the day.

I rather take my shower in the morning or during the day because of my atopic skin... Taking a shower always irritates my skin a lot and makes it really itchy so if I took a shower before going to bed, I'd unconsciously scratch myself a lot during the night and wake up with bloody fingernails and a really nasty looking skin, especially on my legs... So if I take a shower in the morning, I can control my scratching a lot better and don't do too much damage to my skin :D
