Does your dog eat ice cream?

I was amazed at what my dogs could do with ice cream. My two puppies were sniffing up the air as we were eating ice cream so i thought maybe they want a taste of the ice cream. I scooped a little and gave it to them and I was surprised when they gobbled up the ice cream quickly. What I did was I gave them more in their dish and to my surprise they ate the ice cream so fast like two hungry wolves. It's funny but I was so excited watching them. I didn't know that dogs eat ice cream but as I sat watching them, I realized that they are really like people. From that time on, I always share them our ice cream. lol

I used to but not when I found out that they are lactose intolerant and also how expensive it is for us to repair their teeth if we didn't think about the types of things we allow them to eat. I think its great to share meats and things that are generally considered good for their health though. I just had my dinner and shared the meat (lamb) portion with my pets.

Offering ice cream to your once in a while is alright but chocolate ice cream should be avoided as it can be harmful for dogs.Often I treat my dog with vanilla and he is too happy.

haha very funny question.. my dog really like to eat ice cream when i first gave him a handful of ube ice cream he was very eager to eat more... ^^ i think dogs must also have the right to eat ice cream to...

I did not noticed here in my dogs. I rather eat
first the ice cream than my dogs heheheh.jokes...
It is awesome to know it, I guess I will try
sometimes to share w/ it if I would buy.
I have noticed my dog if I ate banana it likes
to have it. As I share w/ it it eats the fruit.
So might be what the people eaten will be also
favorite of dogs.

I once gave my dog icrecream during the summer time and got surprised to see that my dog ate that icecream happily. so from that time onwards i used to buy him icecreams to keep him cool during sunny days.

hahaha.the dogs are like,what my master eats i will eat.my dog does not eat ice cream. becuase i havent introduce it yet to him.guess i will try it tomorrow, hope he likes it too.

Well I don't have a dog anymore, but I did have one in the past. But he did not like ordinairy icecream. He would only like to eat popcicles (not sure if I wrote that correct). But we always had to watch out if one of the kids had an icey, because the dog would steal their ice and eat it with the stick.

when i was younger i had a dog, and they eat almost anything i eat. funny they drink coffee as well har har har. i drink cola and it drinks cola too. and sometimes it eats rice and the food i eat than just dog food. and i guess we grew much closer with that. so when i was a teen i go out with him but not at all time. there are times that i can not bring him like at school and at the mall. now that i am an adult i havent bought a dog yet, very busy working and playing with my child. when he is old enough then i will but a dog for my child.

they can handle a little ice cream,but forzen yougurt is better for them.no local icecream though as artificial sweetener are toxic to them.i wouldnt feed any to a tiny dog or more than a lick or two too easy to mess up their sugar levels source

My dog could do with ice cream too.but it is not amazed with us.with regard to her
it is my sister .my sister can go by bus herself.she can talk with us"wang wang wang"for her mood.so she is a type of man.

yes my dog eats ice cream too. but i'm not give him because sweets are not good for dog's health. so i don't want to kill my buddy.. :)

yes! our dogs eat any kinds of food especially ice cream. I was shocked when i gave my puppy a bread with an ice cream on it and all she did was licked the ice cream and did not eat the bread. haha, she was so cute. So we just placed an ice cream on her plate. It was very funny because after a few seconds she finished her snack.. ;)
