I don't know much about HTML5 yet but I know it's going to change the web in so many ways. The people from adobe must keep an eye on HTML because it's going to race against it's FLASH. The one thing I'm loving so far about HTML5 is the fact that it can play video without the need of installing any plugin or codec. On my blog I put video from time to time on OGG format, so HTML5 browsers like chrome or firefox can play it.

Hi friend,
It is really true. It is why I have started the topic here, to create enthusiasm in people and telling them a new standard has arrived, make most of it.

Yeah, but the thing is that this new standard isn't a standard yet as there are a few things pending to be defined. Take the video codec as an example. All major browsers now have an implementation that let them play video using the video tag, but there's not an agreement on what video codec to use. Opera, Chrome and Firefox can play OGG video while Safari (and Chrome) plays h.264. I use OGG as video codec so the videos on my blog can be viewed using Opera, Chrome or Firefox. I really hope that the w3c consortium define OGG as the standard video codec as it's free of royalities while h.264 isn't.

hi friend,
It is difficult to write about features of HTML5 here, as we have a long list.
Although I am listing some of new supports provided by html5
. canvas
. video support (play video without adding anyother thing)
. database
. workers
. appcache
well you can find a lot by googling.
