do you think it is necessary for children who are enough old to do some housework? i think maybe it could benefit for teenagers who can understand the pressure of their parentis and they realized the responsibility of every sigle person. another ,they could also become more independent than others. what do you think

I strongly agree! Children must experience the moment they help to do household tasks
. With this, they will learn the values of discipline ,helpful and more tolerance to their family members.
And this will help they to develop of close relationship between family members.

ya defenitely, there is nothing bad in helping your parents who mostly do all the household jobs. and it will make the parent children relationship more stronger.

I didnt like to do housework when I was a child and I was always assigned to do the dishes every Sunday after lunch. I was 12 at that time and I always had alibis so I wont get the chance to do the dishes. When we eat lunch on Sundays, I eat really fast and I take a nap for a long time so that's means I dont get to do the dishes anymore. But most of the time I cant do that so I really have to do it. But I was thankful I was trained to do that cause its not going to be helpful for me now that I am older if I didnt do anything like that. When I would have kids, I am also going to teach them the importance of helping with some household chores so they will also learn what I learned.

hi jennyjenny,
yes i do. doing chores around the house make them learn about responsibilities. doing them without having to be told develops self discipline. these are attributes they would need in school and in life. doing chores helps them to move around and that should be good for their physical development as well.
