Do you like to have your curtains in the windows and doors?

I'd prefer to have curtains on my windows but not on the doors. I think curtains are useful for house decorations, for covering your house from bright sunlight or for privacy if you put it in the bedroom.

I am person who likes to have curtains in my windows but not in my doors. I find it more elegant if my windows have curtains on it. Epecially if the design is so classic and simple. I am particular with the design of my curtains.

I like that too, although i haven't gotten to know a tailor that will make me a good curtain for our door. On windows i can buy it in the mall but it was a bit pricey. But i really like the design and colors that matches my bed sheet or sometimes our pillow cases. Anyway, i am also thinking of getting a new curtain for our kitchen door, but still undecided to do so because we rent and what if the flat that we will going to transfer for is different in size, i might not be able to use it. Anyway, need to be patient before decorating everything. About mosquitoes, well the only thing you can do is to spray the curtains too, just in case they come and play, they would be staying away from the curtains too. Happy Mylotting.

There are always curtains in my house for the windows, it helps on blocking the sun ray and it can decorate the interior of my house. As far as I know, no mosquitoe play around my curtains, lucky me.

I like having curtains in the windows but not curtains in the doors. My mother-in-law can sew her own curtains and I really like the way their house looks like cause the theme also changes when it comes to the curtains. If its summer, our curtains are floral, and if its Christmas, our curtains are also Christmasy.

it depends upon the style of your house. if it requires to have curtain why not? curtain can help to enhance our house to make beautiful. color of it can make the surrounding graceful. it can add the house of beauty, and it can make the house perfect of its own designed..

Hi geniustiger, just like you, I love to see curtains hanging on the windows and doors. They make the environment of the atmosphere really different. Our house looks rather monotonous without the lovely curtains. I pick the color and design of curtains which match the ones of the walls. Yeah, different rooms have their respective colors. there are aluminum mosquitoes net on all the windows and doors. So we don't have to worry about any mosquitoes Besides adding fantastic feeling to us the curtains are really useful as well. The two windows in my bedroom face to the east. I don't want the early morning light to disturb my sweet sleep Therefore the first thing before lying down on my best is to get all the curtains fixed nicely lol.... I also like curtains but only on windows. I find it kind of weird to have curtains over doors. I know that in a way the curtain on a door provides privacy so that people who will look that way will not see what's inside the door or room. But I prefer doors to be free of any clutter, including curtains. But window curtains are a different thing. I am the one who buys curtains on impulse especially if I see a curtain in a shade or color that I feel is very cool to the eyes. Also, I have to discard old curtains because in my country and the hot, dry weather, the curtains get soiled easily and no matter how many times I wash them they become stained with dust.

Dear friend, I do like curtains if it too nice or much decorated. Moreover there are also other alternatives in market for curtains with various materials like canes, flowers, card boards, so on. I do like much of decorative curtains according the matching to that room its decoration.

Hi, geniustiger. I like to have curtains to my windows. But not my doors. If I had a front or back door that had a window to it, I will put curtains to my window. I don't want someone to look inside of my home then. I am unsure about the mosquitoes coming in more.. But, I do know that curtains can attract any kinds of pest. I once had an curtain to my kitchen window and it attracted heaps of flies. There were so many that kept coming. I kept killing them and they kept on coming. It was like it was swarms of flies..

Hi Geniustiger, I too like to have curtains around normally, but when I moved into my flat it came without curtains or curtain rails, and though I did get permission to put them up myself, I decided against the idea because my view changed. I am lucky that my flat is too high to be seen into and so curtains aren't needed as no one can spy on me, but more than that I feel that putting them up would change the ambience of the place. I guess I like the wide openness of being able to see the city without moving any material aside, it makes my mind feel freer and less restricted somehow. If in the future I move into an actual house though I will most certainly have curtains because I wouldn't want people to be able to watch me go about my daily life (even if it is just seeing me type a response on mylot lol). A window has so much more appeal when it has window dressing. Curtains give a window personality and presence. Doors really don't require curtains unless they are glass doors. Curtains would be needed to make the door eye-catching. Everyone has their own sense of style when it comes to windows. A lot of experimenting comes until you find your ideal.

both. i prefer to buy differnt kinds of curtains for my rooms.i intend to have my curtain around my bed,cos i like to keep my self in the persnal space. i can put the curtain in anywhre,like doors,wall and other place.

Having curtains in the window makes my house nicer. I like that. Also it is very useful in your life, keep off the sunshine or something when you are sleeping or changing clothes.

I like having mini-blinds in my windows, but then I usually have a valance at the top that matches the decor or color theme in that room. I've never really liked just curtains or drapes. I have installed mini-blinds in two rooms so far, and plan on putting them in the living room as well. I like those because you can eith have them closed for privacy or can open them as little or as much as you want to let light in.

I like the way curtaikns look on a window. All of our windows have curtains. It helps sometimes to be able to shut curtains as well, and block out the sun when you need it to be dark.

I do! Especially when the sun is really bright. It also helps you with your privacy, so that your neighbors wont see what you are doing inside your house. It also adds a little style and design.

i like hanging curtains on my window but not on doors. I also like them when they are my my favorite color of if it matches well with the interior design. Curtains will not a playarea of mosquitoes if the area is clean anyway and no stagnant water are near the area. However, having a curtain requires a bit more intense cleaning because its prone to dust accumulation. happy my lotting!
