I got my first ACTIVE referral on mylot!!! And it only took me

15 dead refs to get this one. So the point is, dont give up on referrals. I have my referral link on my email and forum signature, websites and blogs. What about you?

Well done! I think that ratio 1:15 is about average. I have 3:42 They are active sporadically and as every little adds up I don't bother much about them. If I see them post then I will go and participate too. I have my profile out on a few sites and they can join through the (modified) 'Flyer' that I have placed there if they want to

Thanks, thats pretty much what I do too. I really cant complain since I go in spurts with my activity here.

Good for you! I have the same sigs etc, I have about 24 referrals in my 2 years here... but none of them are active or have ever been active.

Isnt that weird seeing all those referrals with zeros beside their name??? I had a few that posted once and then quit. Perhaps they will back some day, over the rainbow....

got my referral from a friend on yahoo chat. I met her online from this nursing site. I had to try as well to invite her because she is a student as well and would want to earn extra money from here. I am glad she like it here and its interesting for her to change talks with our other co-mylotters

Your way is probably the best way to find referrals. If someone loves to chat in other forums like yahoo which are free, then they will love mylot which pays!!! Congrats!

I do not think you can actually get a mylot referral on mylot haha. that would be weird and maybe cheating if the person made a new account. If you got it off your blog good on you. If you got it from mylot, you might want to explain this one haha.

to be fair I don't worry about getting referrals on mylot all my referral activities are on sites where you get a lot higher commissions. But saying that well done on gainig an active one, hopefully you will make more than a few cents a day on him or her.

I do the same as you (see above). This was the first referral who ASKED me how to earn on mylot, his first day of joining. Could be he has the newbie bug and is skyrocketing right now. But we all know what goes up....
