Its quite unlikely for engineers to be passing time in mylot. But when you are a student studying engineering it may be possible that you are interested in earning money way before your colleagues start doing so.... just to be ahead of the race.
Please include the 1-branch of engineering
2-year
3-other ways your are earning money

Heyy,I don't think the trade has anything to do with MyLotting as far as the user doesn't treat MyLot as means of earning money.I'm a B.Tech in Information Technology and a M.Tech in Mechatronics with specialization in Mobile Robotics.Actually I use this site to hone my writing skill apart from my research activity. Some use their leisure hours chatting with friends, playing etc,but I spend time MyLotting which is in other words sharing views on a topic with an entire group of people spread among different parts of the world.
Thanks
Happy MyLotting!!

Hi,
I would like to say first that I have grown a habit of writing during my preparation for GRE. I can remember studying several fields like philosophy, psychology, ancient architecture, history etc. I still study subjects that are not related to engineering. I have joined myLot as I love writing and because I have a sincere motivation to help people in any way possible. I have also made a blog to help engineering students. I am still studying and would love to continue till the day I die. I have done B. Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, and currently switched my field to computer applications, where I am doing my masters. It is true that online earnings can't be considered as a primary occupation, at least not at a beginner's stage. I think you are studying engineering too, or perhaps have already joined a job. I am glad that you like writing. Welcome to myLot.
God bless you

I am for right now studying to become an aerospace engineer but might change to computer I am still trying to figure it out. I just finished my freshman year and I am going to start engineering core next semester.
I am earning money mostly online but have been looking for some offline cash opportunities.

I'll graduate from LSU with a BS in Industrial Engineering this December.
I earn money from a real life office job, babysitting, and online surveys.

'Industrial Engineering' is it that in which you learn work study......work measurement....time study......etc.
That's how I wonder you manage your office,babysitting,online surveys....etc.
Are you specialising in Industrial Engineering after mechanical or is it your bachelors course itself......

I am an engineering technician in the building services side of things mainly heating, cooling and ventilation. Though I have always been highly interested in the internet and possible ways of making money here. Also given the United Kingdoms current economic climate it will be a few years before the construction industry picks up again and many firms including the one I work for are still very much struggling. What branch of engineering are you studying?

@Khalida
I felt obliged to state this. There is actually no relation between an MBA course and the Engineering course you are doing. Of course, you will get a higher salary once you have that masters. But if you sincerely love what you are doing right now, going for an MBA would be a wastage of time.
