What can I do to get started?

I have such low energy and I know I need to lose weight but I have no idea where to start. I have two kids and a lot of stress in my life right now I guess I just feel overwhelmed at times. I'm not looking for a quick fix because I know they don't work. I'm just looking for some ways to get active and to start losing this weight. My goal is to lose at least 50 pounds by the end of this year and another 50 by the end of next year.

Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.

how old are your kids? i use sparkpeople.com its an amazing website to use. they have groups you can be a part of depending on what your goals are. and you didnt get overweight over night so it takes small tiny steps to change. i suggest changing one small thing a day, take stairs instead of the elevator, park further away when you have to go to the store. drink water instead of coffee or soda pop. as far as excersice it is starting to warm up where i am at, in michigan, take the kids for a walk to a local park. its all about making the changes that will last a lifetime. for me i try to take my son for a walk at least a few times a week. its not much but its a start. add me to ur friends on here if u want, because i have discussions about how im changing my life, and losing weight is one of them.
