Does anyone have the new ipad? I am so curious and am wondering whether it is more better to have the macbook or is it better to just go with the ipad. I understand each has their own good points but what should I expect from the ipad if anyone has had the opportunity to get one of these please I invite you to share your experience or expertise if you are familiar with both technologies. Thank you so much, your opinions are always so helpful.

Depends i think macbook is good but im not going to use all options from macbook and ipad is going to be more popular and easy to use for a normal people , macbook is more for designers, videos and all that kind of softwares . And ipad is more easy in all ways , popular and easy to go, and is touch .

I know that touch function really is so amazing and I think so much fun for so many people but I think new things are always a lot of fun to explore. The macbook is different on that regard but I do think it is nice that they come up with a different types of technology for all kinds of uses. I think another great thing about it is the battery life. That is a wow factor in my books. I wish more things would be upgraded to have more power and longer run time. Many people on the go will really fall in love with this feature I think.

I have not seen it in person yet but you are right it does look pretty cool and I would love to own one too. I do like the user friendliness of it all. I mean I don't know how they came up with all those cool features. I like a good size screen so until I hold it in my hands I would say I don't know but still like the whole idea behind its purpose and usage.

If you use your laptop all days , in your home just take off your battery and keep it connect in electricity and you are not going to use your battery , that is a good tip for not kill your battery so easy. I want to buy an ipad , i saw it in mall so it is pretty good.

I don't really have first hand experience with Macs. My best friend got an iPad though and she absolutely loves it. I think its a lot easier for her to carry around. I've kinda wondered the same thing. If I could ever get up enough money, I would love to switch to a Mac if I could learn how to use it quickly.

Apple makes user friendly things. Seriously it does not take that long to figure it all out. It really is a nice layout too. I particularly like the fact that you also don't need to purchase virus software with them. That is a real treat especially if you love being online without any disturbances. I have really enjoyed their products. I think if I can save enough too I would like to get one for my partner, he would really enjoy it especially the long battery life and it is one of the most affordable things that they have come up with. It really is great to see them making more and more things affordable for people.

you can't compare at all a laptop and a tablet because a tablet is just a smartphone as system enabling a better display a laptop on the contrary is a regular computer so enabling much more possibilites, power and features!!

If you put as Mac vs iPad I honestly think that you but can't put them two in a ring lol.. See people are asking why they didn't put Mac software in the iPad mad it like a Mac but I guess kept the iPod iPhone hardware look lol.. See the Mac is not MADe to be touch feedback it's possible but most things will not respond in a great way. Like I said about Microsoft in the past for them to really push iPad apples iPad out the water they will need to start all fresh and brand new interface and something that is more energy saving.. It's like they can do the same hardware but most companies will have to change there software and give a whole new interface. Doing that will take years sometimes. To create a whole new look that can be easy to understand and very fast. If they don't battery life I'll be very low.. To me that why apple did that when they made the iPad..

Have you purchased the ipad or had hands on experience with the ipad. I am hoping I can get some advice about someone's experience with it all. I still like the macbooks, because you are right they still serve a purpose.

I've seen many videos on youtube about the new IPad. I thought it was a peice of junk, but with enough money you can buy enough app's to make it...well; a slightly better piece of junk. If your looking for something to do computer work on and something more versatile, get the macbook. If your looking for something more fun that lacks some features which the mac-book has, then go with the IPad. Personally the Ipad is cool but..it's just a bigger iphone with bigger sized app's.

So I guess the ipad is more suited for browsing perhaps? I mean it is nice to have something that affordable just to use for browsing or just getting online. But you are right for the other tasks I think it would be much better to get a macbook. I do think that the price is really good. I hope that in the future we are able to have more affordable technology and maybe this launch is a step in the right direction. It is not available yet here but it is coming and I wonder how well it will be received. The features look cool though on it. I guess like you said it depends what you will use it for.
