What's so good about Korea?

I am fond of Korean culture. I am amazed that people in there leave longer than any one else. The seniors were as stronger as a 40'year old man. Aren't they fascinating? I am planning to visit the country sooner or later and I had just few things in mind on what to do when I get there. I want to try specially try their food and pay visit to Jeju island. Aside from that, I had no other things in mind. i know i could find lots by surfing the web. But i want to ask your opinion based on your experiences. I hope you could help me maximize my stay in Korea. Thank you.
