Okay, okay... time to put on some thinking hats again.
What can we buy with $50. Do some work to it and then resell it at a higher price?
It could be materials to make something. It could be some ready made stuff.
Heck, it could even be a few items.
The question is, what, in your knowledge, can you buy with $50 and then resell it for a higher price?
Do share your ideas.

Hi Ahgong, long time no see!
Actually can buy a lot of things with $50, but hardly anything with higher resale value.
The only thing I can think of is to hire some ghostwriters to write a chapter of an ebook, and then combine into one ebook. Even if sell the ebook at $20 each, you can make a profit of $10 after the third sale.

Hmm... interesting.
And what do we have to provide to them for the ebook?
And when we receive it, is the content editable by us? or they send you a pdf?
cos I am thinking of adding visuals to enhance the point I wanna make.
How do we pay them? via paypal?

Hi Ahgong, you can look at guru.com or getafreelancer for the current going rates of ghostwriters.
However, the ghostwriters are probably from India and the standard of English is lower than those from UK/US.
Some writers are even accepting the rate of $2 to $5 for a 400-words articles. I think $50 can literally pay for the ebook.

hmm... the question is this. If I were to look for something off ebay, what should I be looking out for?
What are the criterias you would have used to decide if something is worth more than the $50 price tag it is tagged with. Such that you would be willing to get it, maybe put a little effort to spruce it up a little before selling it at a higher price to profit from it.

Do this the other way around, do a search for "collectibles" and then find a market on ebay.
Then go to pawn shops, consignment stores, antique dealers, thrift shops, in a search for these collectibles, pick them up cheap, and sell them on ebay to the collectors.
With appreciation.

Silk, or some high quality kinda cloth.. haha =D USe it to sew into pounches, bags etc, and u will be able to resell those items, made from it, for higher prices.. haha =D
However, that's gonna be hard work for newbies.. BUt the rewards at the end of it, will be worth it, for hand made stuffs, are often worth more than those factory made ones!! haha =D

Who needs a thinking cap. You can buy wood, and build chairs, or tables, or desks, or counters, or bookshelves, or toys, or blocks, or boxes, or whatever, if you know how to work in wood.
You could also learn how, but it would cost more.
You can purchase things in second hand stores, and sell on ebay(do research first)
You could do a number of things, depending on your skills.
With appreciation.

Haha... Funny you should post that question. I just went to Children's Place today to buy my 5 month old son some clothes. I got 2 little t-shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and a white dress shirt for $50 almost exactly. Wow, you can't buy much for $50 nowadays! He's so little, and his clothes cost so much!
