I'm having a dilemma right now if I need to update my FF mozilla or not. The thing is I have a program that runs smoothly on a lower version of FF but when I update it crashes out my browser and need to remove my program to be able to run the FF browser smoothly again.
Now that I need the program again I need to return to old version my FF again to be able to run my program.
What advice can you tell me, please I need solutions!!

I have the same problem with my netbook. Since v3 FF is memory greedy and freezes the netbook. I solved it with SeaMonkey+Multizilla. SeaMonkey is an internet suite using for the browser the same Gecko sources than FF, but with not all the features. The most popular add-ons (Adblock, Greasemonkey...) are available, and it works fine for me.
Have a nice day.
