mylots have you ever listened to a song that reminded you of a bad time that made you cry while listening to the song. It is quiet interesting how a song can trigger the emotions of a human being. I remember one time my girlfriend and i both cried to a song at the same time is that weird?

Oh yeah! I completely agree with this post. Music has so much meaning in my life. Whenever I feel something, I have music for almost all of my emotions. I love it.

no is not weird, is human to have feelings and you are right there are some songs that can sure find your vulnerable side. Amazing Grace is one that usually gets me. I guess that is because I was military and what do you know they played it each important even I was involved from my graduations to departure and return from Desert Storm.

Very true. Songs are tear-jerkers! haha! especially when you can relate well to the lyrics of those songs. A lot of songs definitely make me cry... And that's because I can relate so much to the song that it makes me wonder if that song was literally written for me. Haha! There was this one time, I'm having problems with my boyfriend...It was those rocky days for us then a song played...It reminded me of our fun times and it made me cry sooo hard.

I do think that every people has an experience of crying upon listening in a song. There are certain songs which are very sentimental to us. They serve as the outlet our repressed emotions. They speak in behalf of what we can't tell. They sometimes tell about the dreams we wish to come true. That's why, songs are very elemental and important in our world. If songs are not existent, the world would really be filled with raging wars. Songs serve as our comforter and company. Without them, we can hardly put ourselves at ease whenever we are climactic to putting into actions the things we feel at one moment.

Oh yes there are many songs that make me cry, love songs made me cry a lot right after I broke up with my ex, whether they were happy or sad, i would just get upset and cry. Now I just cry if its a really really sad song, or if it is something that fits my ex to a T, like this song called "possibility" by Lykke Li, and the lyrics just always remind me of my ex, and its a comforting but at same time depressing song, hard to explain.

Yes, some songs can really affect you and make you cry. Especially when you are currently in a situation and can relate to the lyrics of the song. And even then, you will want to hear the song over and over again.
