Which season do you like most and why?

In the Philippines we only have 2 season. The rainy and dry season. I wish I could experience Winter, I'd like to play in the snow. I hate the rainy season. Its all mud and dirt. You can't go out and stroll to beautiful spots when you feel like it. :) BUT IF i am to rank this 4 seasons. Winter will top my list. Then Spring. And Autumn and least favorite is summer. Philippines is a tropical country and so I hate summer. So hot!

Hi Grkelly, I would probably rank the seasons: Autumn, Spring, Winter, Summer. Here is why: Autumn is my favourite season because I love the leaves falling from the sky and the sunsets, also the most special things seem to happen to me in the autumn so it holds a very special place in my heart. I love Spring because it is the end of the darkness of winter and the flowers are starting to bloom and brightening the place up again which I also adore. Winter comes next because this last winter was great. There was quite a lot of snow in the UK and so I got to walk out in it and enjoy the changes of the landscape. It also made my daily walks more exciting because for a few weeks when we had the snow every day the scenery was different, something I can't get in summer which I ranked last because I hate the heat and all the noise that comes with holidays and parties and such things. About the only thing I do like is the chance to get a tan and the fact that working out feels so much better when the sun is shining. I don't like the season itself much though, too many expectations. All the best, Dranz

in my country there are only two seasons, summer and winter. in this case, i prefer summer. in winter, the temperature is low and cold. it rains all day long. flood everywhere. i hate winter because i can't go outside to somewhere else. surely, it disturbs my activities.

I like summer the best because I like hot weather and I like the long daylight hours. I like autumn next because the temperature's in the 80s and it's still warm enough to enjoy golf, etc. Then I like spring, but the wind blows too much here in the spring, so it's not as nice as the fall. Last is winter...it's just too cold for me, even though we rarely get snow.

Just like rutie1973, we are from the philippines. We have only 2 seasons. And if I am to choose from the two... I guess the most likely for me to choose is the rainy season. Though both seasons have its own disadvantages. if it's just like other countries with four seasons... I don't really know how I should rank them. I mean, I haven't even experienced winter. I would like to at least experience it before judging.

i like spring too because of its liveliness and also there is moderate temperature during this period and we can travel in such beautiful weather any where:)

i like fall and spring the best not to hot nor too cold.

hie grkelly, i always like the spring season as it reminds me of coming 'alive' of all creations whether humans, animals plants, all things big and small etc. spring signifies a new beginning with new resolutions and putting out my best feet forward.spring is the time of coming out of hybernation during the long winter. there is the sprouting of new leaves and shoots. soon flower buds are coming out and soon a full bloom floer in summer. expectations are high in spring. summer is the peak as everything is at the stage of maturity. everything is in the fast lane. summer time is harvest time such as ripening of fruits, maturity of plantation crops. little offsprings of animals are in the summer months. people tends to enjoy more in summer with picnics, gatherings and other adventures like mountain climbing, swimming and a host of other sports including vigorous sports. autumn is toning down time. a very slow decline where autumn leaves are coming. withering is starting. conservation of food begins amongst the animal and plants kingdoms. the pace of life goes on abit slow only. then winter comes as everything is grey , dull, shallow and withdrawn. but with winter, can only comes spring. thus is a cycle as God ordained it for the world. its rather interesting as it to me is like the planting time, a time to sow in order to harvest. a season to plough, to till and hallow the soil , plant the seeds, germinatation of seeds as the plants grow, mature, ripen and is harvested. the season does not wait, it goes on and on and its a real marvel to me. the unseen hand of God moves the universe and all seasons. this is my thinking and is my opinion. all said and done i like spring and i look forward for the seasons to change and then springtime springs back again to me with all its promises, grace and favours for the whole year. have a good day and takes time to savour life.

I like the seasons that are in between all the major seasons. The major seasons for me would have to be summer and winter because the weather changes here are rather extreme with the extreme chill and hot. I like the in between seasons such as Autumn and Spring because they are much cooler and the weather is pretty mild and warm.

There are only 2 seasons here in my country, the rainy and sunny summer season. I don't like either of the two. When it rains, it floods and mud is all over. It floods because the drainage system in the city is not good and at the same time the illegal loggers had uprooted the trees in the mountains and forests. And when it's summer time, it is really so hot that you're like burning in hell! If only we have 4 seasons here like winter spring summer and fall, I like winter first cause I want to see and feel the snow, next is autumn, then spring and last is summer.

here in the philippines we only have the raining and the dry so i really want to experience autumn and winter. if i were to rank the four seasons it would be autumn, winter, spring then summer. i already have enough summer here and it really is so hot.

I like the summer time because there a lot more things to do in the summer like swimming and biking and stuff like that.

Dear friend, No doubt I too like spring, as you noted the same is also applicable to me also. Moreover summer I too like for holidays. At times I like those rains too.

I like the winter season most.. because in that time their is no problem of hot and hot wind.. and you are freely to goes anywhere in noon.. but in summer days the hot wind are very fast.. and also problem of sunshine is very high.. so i don't like to outing in summer days.. so i like winter season most..

Well for me I probably like summer, like what they've said in the recent response here we only have two seasons, wet and dry. I hate rainy or wet season because the activities that you can do is very limited unlike in dry or summer season you can do anything under the sun especially swimming even hot though.

I love Spring the most. The temperatures are optimum and you can roam about here and there without worrying about the heat or the cold. My preference is: 1) Spring 2) Monsoon 3) Summer 4) Autumn 5) Winter I just hate winter. You need to put on such heavy winter-wear and you cant work properly in the cold.. Happy mylotting!!

In my eyes,Spring is the best season.When Spring comes,ice become water .Flowers spread all over,with kinds of color ,such red ,yellow,blue.It not too cold,and not too hot,we feel comfortable by weather.Spring is the start of a year,and we just like new guys,without pressure,,sadness,and other bad things.
