Yep! That's right. Last night when I took my earings off they were two totally different earrings! I thought back about the day and all the people I saw and absolutely no one said a word - not even the friend I had lunch with! I was so embarrassed!! They weren't even similar two totally different colors!! One hoop was silver and the other one was a lot smaller hoop (which is why I accidently picked it up!) and the smaller one was pink - not even silver!

I'm not even sure what I did! I think I laid out the one that I don't have a match for, then took the pair out I wanted to wear. But when reaching back down I picked up the one instead of the match for the pair! lol!

Oh yes, definitely chalk it up to a fashion trend.
Added bonus: if you lose one earring, you don't have to throw the other one out. You can still wear it!
To tell you the truth, I can't remember when I last owned a matching pair of earrings. I've been wearing different earrings for years, sometimes only one. And I've even shared a pair with someone else, they take one, I take the other. Works out great.
Go with it!

You are right, if I lose one earring, I still have a matching pair that way!lol!I'll have to check into the time share earring program!

It is quite possible that no one even noticed - sometimes people aren't all that observant! I once wore two different sandals to work. It wasn't until I was walking to my car at lunch time that I looked down and noticed they weren't a matching pair. I was trying to decide which pair looked better with the skirt I was wearing and must have got distracted and marched right out the door wearing one of each!

Maybe nobody said anything about your two different earrings was because they thought you did it on purpose. They might have thought you were making a fashion statement. They might have been afraid of offending you. Don't feel embarrassed about your earring dismay. As long as you are happy with who you are, your accessories should not matter.

You can actually see it in two ways. One as others have said it must have passed off as a new fashion and other other thing is that people nowadays are not having enough time to look at others earrings and seeing whether they are matching or not. So it is something you can take into your considerations and also now you can spend less tome in choosing your accessories as as you may have noticed no one is actually noticing them.

It is probably that no one is paying close enough attention to each other to actually notice the indescrepancy!

Well, they must've thought you were setting a new trend because no one really noticed it! There's no need to be embarrassed because I know a lot of people who mix and match earrings. Just a tip though, I always pair and separate earrings so that I don't pick up an earring by mistake especially when you're in a hurry or if your mind is on something else .

LOL. That is funny. Maybe the people just thought that it was just your style. Well if one was pink and the other was silver, that doesn't look bad. That looks cute! Ha Ha. It is not obvious that you took it by mistake.

Hehehe! Lucky you are that no one even noticed it
from your ears! Just put it as an amzing day for you.
Sometimes we cannot do it if we are in a hurry.
Afraid to be going late in office and party.
It is alright that you are only the one knowing it.

Oh my goodness! How come they didnt tell you? I wonder why they didnt tell you when in fact your friend was around. I did experience wearing different earrings before but I did it on purpose cause I wanted to be unique. It was also the kind of fashion statement I copied from this cartoons I was watching. I wore a moon shape earring in one ear and star shape earring in another ear. Well, I hope they were just thinking it was a new fashion statement. But I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope your friend did something.

maybe everyone noticed it but they just kept it as a secret. its another form of respect to not talk about someone else flaws. well it is refreshing to see two differently colored earings and if they were the same it could have been monotonous.

That is funny. Here is something similar to what happened to you. When I was in middle school, one of our teachers had only one earring on. No one said anything and then when she touched her ear and realized that she did not have the other earring on, she was shocked. She laughed and asked why no one said anything to her and the general response was that we all thought that was the style she was going for. It was funny but we were all trying to be polite to our teacher. Maybe your friend thought that was the style you were going for, lol.

Lol. That is hilarious. It has happened a number of time to me. I ve been so absent minded as to change my slippers when I was back in college.Oh my those were fun days, but I got caught and I was made the laughing stock. We still talk about it and have a hearty laugh. These kinds of things happen because of our absent mindedness.

haha! yeah I'm sure they just thought you were very hip! I've seen young girls wearing two different color socks or only one sock...another funny trend! I once went to work with two different colored pumps on...but completely by accident. I was so emabarrased! I guess I was still half asleep while getting dressed!

I can't believe these responses! Why would people notice your earings? Everyone wears earings, even men. Unless they are the size of footballs, or dangling from your shock absorbers, no one cares about them. Fashion, that's a joke too. You would notice people stark naked, but still not look to see their earings.
