Have you ever been discriminated because of your skin color and race or denied a right because you belong to a race that seems unfit or "the inferior race" compared to others? Please share your view on this mylotters...

While I have not personally be the victim of discrimination, I think that it is rather lame especially in this day and age. I mean, you would think that we would have progressed past this point by now. This is the year 2010 and we are becoming more diverse than ever before. To discriminate based on the color of someone's skin is just something that just seems more absurd these days. Not that it was ever good.
So one would think that with all of our technological advances and evolution, we could evolve past racism but sadly that is not possible. We see discrimination in many, many forms. Some of them very subtle and others very blatant, more often than ever before. It is rather disturbing in many cases. Yet some of it is just the way that people were brought up but this brings up another problem.
Of course, in the end, racism does happen but its not the reason for everything. I think there are many times where people use racism as a crutch. Granted, there is a lot of things that can be interpreted to be racist but not everything is racist. There is just so much discrimination in the world that it is just very difficult to tell these days. Still it is still something that just is absurd these days.
