I love dried fish. I love it anytime of the day. I eat it with vinegar and some garlic. I eat with fried rice. It is also good for steamed rice.

Mimiang, I admit I love reading your posts as it is always about the foods I love. :) Now about tuyo or dried fish, best paired with eggs and garlic fried rice, the best Filipino breakfast ever. My husband scolds me all the time because he says too much salty fish can't possibly be good for my health. I've been having them for years and I'm perfectly healthy. Maybe it`s just the balance between the foods that I usually eat. Like I love eating fruits and veggies and I love drinking pure coconut water straight from the tree,(We have three in our backyard.) which they say are good to combat too much salt in the system. Bah! I`d still eat tuyo till I'm old and gray. lol

I actually feel itchy after eating tuyo but sometimes I cannot help myself from eating them especially when I see my family enjoying it.

I love tuyo too, I even get the oil where it was cooked in and get a bit to my rice servings. I also love tamban but sometimes it's so salty. Dried Pusit(squid) is also nice in the morning especially the small ones, cuttlefish. Tinapas, boneless bangus, hmm nice! The Philippines really have odd delicacies for fishes.
