Where is education taking us?

Education gives one the foundation to succeed in life. But why are so many educated people struggling to make two ends meet? I wish I knew the answer. Education today is fiercely competitive and prohibitively expensive. As a parent I find helpless that I don't have the resources to sustain my kid's higher education. Maybe some sponsor will be able to bail me out. I wonder if it is a crisis or a challenge?

education and knowledge without wisdom will surely end up struggling too much in life.. But having strong determination in life, having a very positive response in our life make us active in the field of education..What is important to fight against crisis in our country is helping hand in hand...and work smoothly so that promotion will help us.

m,any people are confusing Education with Schooling. You go to school and get a degree but you might not have an education that can get you a good job. Many people are going to a Technical School and learning (being educated) a trade and getting a good job.

I still believe that a good education is still the best bet for an individual to succeed in life. Granted, that there are many people who have achieved much without even finishing college (Bill Gates is the oft-quoted example), their circumstances are quite different from the run-of-the-mill person on the street.
