Wedding dress--- buy or hire

Renting a wedding dress is not always an option, but you have a good idea if it is a choice where you live. We do often rent the suits or tuxedos, though. It might save people a lot of money to rent all of the bridal clothes or to go for more simple weddings that lend themselves to just dressy clothes.

I think wedding dress will leave good memory to the brides. We can store it up, and take it out at the wedding date of every year, or just like the film has shown or leave it to our daughter...

i know your words meant that love between lovers will last forever.as far as the role of the wedding dress ,it is to let everyone know oh~ today it's your wedding when you can recieve many blessings.the wedding dress is important but not the most important.dear,you are very lovely.i guess that a marryholic won't like to dress in the same dress wedding which she had bought.we or our friends can help yourself to design many different kinds of wedding dresses to choose for yourself.

If I will get married in the near future and I don't have much money to plan for a big and lavish wedding then I might urge my wife to be to rent a wedding gown instead of buying one. Renting a wedding gown is much cheaper compare to buying or making a new one. I do know that it is every girls dream to wear their very own wedding dress during their wedding day but then I think my wife will understand the situation. But since I have no plan to get married yet I still have enough time to save for our future wedding and then I will make sure that I can buy my girlfriends wedding dress even if not that expensive at all.

Well,it seems you can only choose to hire your wedding suit,but you have no authority to choose whether you will buy or hire your future wife's wedding dress.But mostly wedding dress is more expensive than wedding suit. For me,maybe I will choose to buy my future wedding dress instead of hiring it.It is so beautiful that I can't help buying it.But I can choose a relative cheaper place to buy my dress,for example,online shop...Whatever,it is a very precious present and memento for me.I wish I could recall my wedding memory whenever I like.

I have no idea, I am actually thinking about this at the moment myself. But in my country, renting a dress for a wedding is almost as expensive as buying one, believe it or not, which is really crazy!

Its not good to rent your wedding dress. This dress is your memory for your wedding day. I think you should buy your wedding suits rather than renting.

I don't think I'll be renting a wedding gown when I get married. I want my wedding to be special, and a wedding gown made just for me would help make it special. I also want to keep my wedding gown as a souvenir of my wedding. I know it's not practical, but it's what I really want and I will save money to make it happen.

I think wedding dress is something you treasure rest of your life and it's a memory and the most precious things of your married life. But these days people are also going for hiring a wedding dress just to save money and also enjoy what they want. But personally I would always buy. i believe marriage is very important and come once in a life time so I would buy a wedding dress forever.

For me better to rent so that you get cheap price and more satisfied in your pocket.

Yeah, as far as I am concerned, I think it will be better for the new lover to just hire the dress ,which is worth a lot of money for them to buy one. If they just haire one, I think it will help them save a lot of money. For the dress , we just ware it just once.

It depends if you like to buy or hire your wedding dress. What i mean it depends if you have money to buy for it or just hire because of its price difference. Practicallly, if i have some money of course i will buy it and treasure my wedding dress but for now go for hire because i can save out of it.

If it is your first wedding and you still belive and hope it will be your last one in my opinion it would be great to hava that white dress every little girl dreams of.It is not said that it should be an expensive one.It is not the price that is important but the feeling that it is something you own-you can't hire everything in your life just to save money.

I prefer to buying a wedding dress.I am dreaming of a special wedding dress all the time,as you said we just dress it once,but just for this reason,the wedding dress is more than a dress.And i don't think that the wedding dress should be very expensive.I expect to design my wedding dress by myself,which i can choose the style,the color i like.And I can wear it in my routin life as well.If i have a girl,i will pass it to her, and tell her about my wedding dress story.-----a happy ending:)!

i better buy than hire..because as we all know that wedding occasion comes only once in our life and i would cherish and treasures every accessories i will on my wedding day.. And it is been my wish to have a bridal gown that of my own..don't want to rent it. I don't want to use a bridal gown that was already used by other brides.

I think alot of people rent as like you are saying they are only going to wear it for that one day and will not have a need for it again.Sometimes it is cheaper to buy rather than rent as there are alot of sales in the wedding shops so it all depends.Years ago there were people that used to use their wedding dresses to make a christening robe to christen their child in.

i prefer to have my own. it's nice to look back and reminisce the memories that a particular dress would have. in the philippines, we have no divorce, this means that whoever you marry, you are to stay married to for the rest of your life (except when one asks for an annulment). all the best things and the regrets if there are any are part of life, that includes a wedding dress. a girl can be married several times but there is only one first time. :)

hey! i had my wedding dress made by a dressmaker. i think it is cheaper than those that are being rented although you right that i can't wear it gain unless it still fits on my 25th anniversary...lol i would like my daughter to use it instead when the right time comes.

I would probably rent one if I could, but I can see buying it to have as a keepsake of your wedding day. A lot of times you can get them altered/dyed very cheaply if you'd really like to wear it again, or sometimes people have "re-commitment ceremonies" and wear it again(if possible.)

it's not a good idea renting a wedding dress. why? because it's the most precious day in your life. why? will you think to just rent a wedding dress. because you will just use it in one day. you have a good point there but in tradition if you have a daughter you can lend your wedding dress to her by the time she will be married soon. in our country i don't know in the other country. So i prefer to buy a new wedding dress than to rent.
