I just read on a list of how much some jobs made a year and the CEO of facebook makes roughly 3 billion dollars a year. It's pretty strange that facebook can't afford to pay it's members for the activity that they do like mylot does. Mylot has no where near the amount of members that facebook does but they still manage to pay their members on time and correctly each time.
There are also site's like peoplestring now that is a social networking just like facebook but it pays you for all your activity. Why the administration of facebook chooses to take all the money for themselves when they could be obviously paying their members at least a little bit of money. Social networking sites like peoplestring and mylot to me are worth my time much more because they are willing to pay me for my activity and they also show me plenty of other good earning opportunities.
I hope that dedicated facebook users can find sites like this one and peoplestring so they can start earning money for all the time they are spending on the internet.

It might never occur to them to pay their users. Mylot and Peoplestring are anomalies. Most social networking sites do not pay their users anything at all, so why should Facebook? It's not a question of whether or not they can afford it, it's a question of whether or not they feel it will do them any good. Facebook's already on top of the social networking food chain. What more good could paying their users do?

I think you're right. Facebook probably doesn't see any need to pay their members because people are willing to use their site without payment. I hope another social networking site that pays members becomes a challenge to Facebook so that Facebook would consider paying its members.

i think facebook has become the most popular social website,so for it , there is no need to do this like mylot , in addition, it is a business organization , making profit is their priority ,maybe one day in the future , when they are facing a dilemma which force it to innovate , they would consider mylot's model , lol

Of course like those 'mylotters' and 'peoplestring' and whatever, facebook users should be paid even a small amount of money following the activities of the members or users. To my dismay, facebook is a different model of networking site and the administrators,co-owners themselves have been enjoying as they sit and watch, browse to see thousands signing-up a day on their site.Lets hope they'll change the model and strings of their site again.lolzzz

You make sense for that.Me to I addicted surfing face book because all of my friends are member in face book so i as well is a member of face book. Even face book is not paying there members by doing some activities they are not complaining about it because they are enjoying there time in face book. But now for me if they will discover this my.lot I'm sure they will just drop the face book just like what they do in friendster. when the face book just pump up.

That's a lot of money and a lot of people! Almost everyone I know is on Facebook and I often wonder what the attraction is. I have an account there but seldom check into it.
Facebook didn't start out as a money making thing, if I remember right. It sort of evolved, so there was never a time when paying people to post there made sense. If they can make that kind of money from other people, more power to them.
MyLot is easier to pop in and out of, and easier to find your way around in. I don't know anyone in "real life" who comes on myLot and that's the way I like it.

Facebook's owner can do whatever the heck he wants. It's his baby; if he wanted to pay the users, he'd work out a system to do so. As it is, he chooses not to, so it's very unfair to vilify him.
