How do you discipline an unruly child?

In your opinion..what is the best way to disipline an unruly child.

Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed are the four tested alternatives which were introduced by the great Chanakya who was Prime Minister to Chandra Gupta Maurya of Indian Kingdom.
In this Saam means compromise.
Daam means giving away money or creating some kind of greed in him for something.
Dand means punishment.
Bhed means Divide and Rule policy.
Chanakya recommended the punishment to be used as a last alternative.
Now the choice is yours to choose any one of these four alternatives.
