I always feel sleepy while traveling in a bus, train, flight or while traveling by a car. Hopefully I don't sleep if I am on the driver's seat.Though I don't have a sound sleep as I always wake up whenever the vehicle stops.
Do you feel sleepy while traveling in any such vehicle?? Please feel free to post.
Happy Mylotting.

When I traveled from Mindanao to Luzon. It took 2 days and 3 nights by bus. I could not sleep while the bus is moving the only chance I got to sleep is when we are riding with the barge for us to in another island. That was the only time I went to sleep. But if the bus is moving I could not sleep nor take a nap.

Yes, its really unpleasant. No matter how I tried to get some sleep while the bus is moving I really could not. So I just keep my eyes open and be attentive in the road. As if I am the driver.

I actually do tend to feel a bit sleepy at times while travelling yes but I think its the fact that a person does wake everytime the vehicle stops makes a person even more sleepy. My youngest sister used to always fall asleep at the wheel it was the worst thing ever. I would be her passenger and look at her and her eyes would be closing and drifting away ... lol!

If I'm on vacation traveling to some far away place which takes hours to get to, I will take short naps along the way because when you look at the view out the window of the vehicle for a long time, your eyes tend to get tired. Also, when I am going somewhere really early in the morning or if I don't get enough sleep, I will close my eyes in the moving vehicle. I sometimes nearly fell asleep in a moving vehicle.

I used to be like this. Specially if I am not driving, and I am a bit comfortable where I am sitting. The very first job I got, we used to travel from our head office to our manufacturing facility which was 2 hours away. I would sit in the front seat, beside my manager who was driving. It would be sunny and warm outside, and I would be sitting in the comfortable chair with the A/C full blast. I had trouble staying awake.

Previously, it used to take me about an hour to commute to work by bus. It's the best time for me to catch some lost sleep. Sleeping in the bus is like sleeping in a cradle, and I like that feeling.

I can never fall to sleep when traveling as it makes me feel sick.I am also a bit nervous as the last time i fell asleep was when my dad was driving when we were children and that was on an icy road and we ended up with the car spinning out of control and i had been thrown about in the back of the car as back in those days there were not seat belts in the back of the cars.

I always sleep in a bus or train if the trip is very long, for instance, more than one hour. When I get on the bus or train, I always feel sleepy and will soon fall asleep as soon as I find a seat. What is magic is that I could often wake up just several minutes before the bus or train reach my destination.
