being a single mom of a teenage girl. Prom is a very tough time for me. I have has to dish out so much money for this I am not going to be albe to pay my bills for this month. The dress what the cheep part that was a hand me down my daughter likes it so there is no complaints there. I cant not believe the price of prom pictures,flowers, among make up and hair.this is going to be very tight for me. I can not wait until it is all over.

Im sorry you're having troubles. Your daughter should really be a bit more understanding about the money issues, and consider preparing with a friend next time. They can do each others hair, nails, and makeup for free. Flowers aren't even necessary, nor are pictures. It's all about having fun with her friends, and your daughter should appreciate that! PS: I'm a teenager girl, and we're tight on $ too. Sometimes, sacrifices have to be made, but not always on the parents part!
