I have another PC and I want this to be internet connected just like the one I'm using now. It's summertime and at the same time school vacation and all my children are at home and taking their turns in using our internet connected PC. And this sucks because I can't have my turn to do mylotting and surf. Can you tell me what to do so I can save money if ever I'll call a technician to fix it. Thanks! Happy mylotting!

What you need is a router. A router is a box that will split the internet connection from your internet modem to different wires, which are then hooked up to your computers. A lot of routers brands (Linksys, D-Link, Netgear for example) are very user friendly.
You need to do is when you buy a router, make sure you purchase a few CAT-5 cables (or ethernet cables). You need one cable to go from the modem to your router and you will need two cables, one for each computer and each of them hooking up directly to the router. After that, there should be a CD that comes with the router, just put it in your computer and it should load up a wizard. It will help you setup your router and you should be good to go. If there are any questions, the instruction manual with the router should answer all questions.
Most newer computers should already come with the appropriate cards and such to allow an ethernet cable to be connected into it. Not so hard that you would need to call up a technician, in fact it is very easy to install even for anyone that doesn't know much about computers.

The solution that I am using in my house is by using a wireless router. The basic idea is
PC/laptops router modem
There is a need to buy a USB wifi adaptor.
I am using this way because the other PC is located in another room. To physically connect it to the router would require a long cable. This can lead to other problems like a faulty CAT 5 cable.

you will definitely need a router, but if one of your computer is using a windows 7 operating system, you can turn that computer to become a wifi router, i will be more descriptive if you have a W7 OS.
