i would. i've always felt she was a very unfortunate victim when her husband left her so much so when she had been quite bright in wanting more kids via the unnatural method which has a lot of chances of turning out multiple births plus the fact that separation is very common in america (no offense). she has to earn a living and tries everything since nothing can be relied on the husband she chose to have as the father of her multitude of kids. that kind of working she does, in every culture and every state mind is admirable. however, everyone is making fun of her in dancing with the stars and even if you are a blood relative of hers you would wish she never dance anymore. no grace, no emotion. if you were a friend of hers, meaning you know all along that she hasn't got a dancing bone right from the start, how would you help her deal with all the criticisms going her way right now (if ever she's feeling down about it)?

Well, dancing is talent. You either have it or you don't. If she's a friend of mine and I can see that she is having difficulty with her dancing, then yes, I think I am going to advice her to quit. If she likes dancing as a form of exercise, she can always join classes that are not shown to the whole world. "Dancing with the Stars" is only good for stars who could really dance. It's all about dancing so if you can't pull it, then graciously bow out.

this now confuses me for these celebrities already had a lot of training in them. some of them already had (besides acting lessons of course to actors on the show) lessons on almost everything: voice, dance, dieting, grooming etc. that they are currently not making a living out of at the moment. ergo, some of these celebrities can really and know how to dance but they did not make a living out of it. so, some of the celebrity contestants can dance and some obviously cannot. just an intrigue: do you know that there is one celebrity commentator who was so confused on one's qualifications to get in dancing with the stars? some are being turned down and some are being asked to join even those without a fighting chance of winning and risk making fun of by the people like kate. she said that celebrities who are trying to revive their careers (who have no work)at the moment are the ones who are in that show. meaning the had beens are the ones the network is making money out of. you can charge them lesser than if you could and would be able to get big stars.

guess not. i think this dwts thing is kinda of break-free from her 8 kids. her playboy husband should look after their kids once in a while. if she's earning so much from here then she shouldn't stop more.

i guess that's true. some mothers reason out work as an excuse to stay away from home. i do remember a former colleague being asked why she chose to work even on saturdays and she said she doesn't want to stay at home because of her naughty kids.

has to earn a living However she HAS earned a living by doing all these reality shows and if she had any brains about her she wouldnt have lived beyond her means..She should have plenty of money in the back to support herself and her kids if she were budget-minded... everyone is making fun of her in dancing with the stars I dont make fun of her..I just think she is a HORRIBLE dancer AND she shouldnt be on any of these reality shows..IMO her children need her MORE THAN EVER in light of her seperation/divorce...so who's taking care of her kids when she is off doing these things..NOT HER!! i think she should leave the show AND tv in general and go be a damn mother!

i agree with you that everyone has to earn a living and that she shouldn't have lived beyond her means in that she should have satisfied herself with two kids knowing that their unnatural ways of conception could have brought again more than twins again and the fact that separation, which almost spells lack of financial support from the wayward parent, is almost always the case there abroad. but as with her ways of earning a living while being made fun of in the process well...i guess you could take and should be able to take in anything with 8 kids to feed. i'd just feel sorry for her if i were her mother. i think with any decision we make we should think about our relatives who might suffer more than we would. having kids shouldn't just be a "want". it should be a phase of life that has everything taken into consideration so that when things get worse integrity and real earned would still be there.

Really now. What talent does she have? She was on a reality show that followed her life. The was lucky to get that job. Now she's just being allowed to milk whatever fame she gained from that show.

Putting different "stars" on dance shows in some ways is like the shows where they took "stars" and had them box or made them live in the same house. Most of the "stars" tend to be on the way down or are trying to resurrect their careers.

Objectively speaking, and as a major proponent of equal opportunity, I think she should stay on the show especially since she needs the money now after the separation. Dancing pays a lot. I saw in one blog that Shawn Johnson was paid $30,000 per appearance. That would certainly go a long for 8 kids. This is her opportunity to learn dancing, even if she has no dancing bones. Personally though, I find it hard to watch her. It's like going pulling teeth. I have to agree with Carrie Ann's comment after Kate danced to Lady Gaga's Papparazzi that it was hard to watch her. I'm a big fan of Dancing (don't tell anyone) and I have seen some people grow in their dancing there, although the winners tend to be those with born with grace. I agree with you, I wouldn't vote for her even if I were related to her so she'd better keep her kids up to vote for her!

you nail it on the head. it is hard and even painful to watch her. like exactly having your teeth pulled out. or like reliving my 6 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. labor. or having constipation. but yes, equal opportunity...but i do believe that there are some celebrities who doesn't always make it there. i read that dancing with the stars wouldn't invite or take them. well, i guess kate gosselin sure spells ratings.

I personally don't think her dancing ability (or lack of) is a reason to tell her leave the show. Dancing With the Stars began as a reality competition show for celebrities who had very little dancing skills to begin with. Though I doubt she'll be on for very much longer since she isn't close to the performance as the rest of the celebrities, I would not advise her to give up the show because she can really use the huge paycheck especially with her ex-husband trying to take her back into a costly custody battle. I sometimes wonder if he partly wants the kids so he could request child support from her since he's not working right now.

however, i still doubt she'd develop a dancing bone there as much as barbara streisand would be be able to carry a rap tune. it just isn't there. but her willpower to do it for her kids is noble enough that people cannot say anything bad about her being a single mom. as for the custody battle: if jon gosselin doesn't have work that means he can be jailed right? for lack of spousal support?
