I recently created an Alertpay account and I was wondering does your alertpay account have to be verified for you to use it? Because I only added my bank account to it and nothing more. I am not willing to give anymore information to the site. So will I stile be able to use it? If yes will there be limits on it? Thanks alot!

Actually, you don't need to verify your alertpay account to use it. You can use it right away after signing up. But, it is much better if you have your account verify, because some money making sites requires a verified AP account. Plus, base on my own experiences, you cannot withdraw your funds to your local banks if you didn't verify your account.

So are you sure? Even if I already added my bank account to my alertpay account? Thank you

yes, I think so. I don't know how it works in your country. But, here in the Philippines, my experienced is that, when I'm trying to withdraw my funds, even though I've added my Bank Account already, the site asked me to verify my account first. That is only based on my own experiences. I don't know how others do it.

It is not obligatory. You can use it as unverified member, but It is better for you to verify your account. It is easy, and better for you, because you may face with some sites (rare cases but...), which require verified account

As far as I know you really have to verify your account for you to have a smooth transaction with them and your company. I found almost all companies were requiring their members to have a verified account before they send you your payments.
If you don't want to verify your account then maybe you just have to wait for you company to open up another payment processor.

I am also wondering about it. I am not very familiar about alertpay since I use paypal more often. I'll be looking forward to other people's responses in this discussion.

i don't know much about alertpay, since i recently signed up and never really use it. but then i found that i can get verified using my mobile phone, so i thought "why not?". and now i have a verified alertpay account, although there's no money in it LOL. i think there's no harm in verifying your alertpay account, because maybe it will come handy someday
