If you could buy ANY As Seen On TV product here on MyLot, what would it be?

Are you like me? You don't need something until you see the infomercial for it? Like the Magic Bullet. How cool would it be to make salsa in 8 seconds or less? Or that Nu Glu or whatever it is... it sticks to anything then you can remove it.
My question is, if MyLot had a store called As Seen on TV and you could buy anything in there, what would you purchase? Would it be for you or someone else? Why would you get it?
Right now, my list would include the big hair clips, the dog trainer silent wistle, the Magic Bullet, the Shark steamer and the air purifier by Oreck. (I'm sure there are more!)
Happy shopping!

Many times I feel this way. I like the magic bullet, I think, I burnt the motor out on mine.
I have stopped watching T.V, and in my network marketing company we have cookies, that are packed with protein, filled with fiber, and contain 30% of the daily recommended intake of several of the major vitamins and minerals, they help you manage your weight, and feel great....that is what I would buy right now, I am out and kind of craving one at the moment.
I have always kind of liked the SHAM WOW, as well. I have several of them gizmo's laying around the house, usually get them once they hit store shelves though.
With appreciation.

Hello Bear. I think I am like you. I watch those TV infomercials and it is probably a good thing I don't have the money to call and order all of that stuff. I would have every piece of exercise equipment and every cooking gadget under the sun - not to mention all of the beauty creams that promise to make me look 20 years younger. If I used all of that stuff I would probably be 17 again.
Thank heaven, because my funds are limited, I get to check out the products when they come to Costco or Walmart or Walgreen's. If I still want it after I see it in person and do a bit of research on it, I am able to save the shipping charges and even return it if it doesn't work as promised. Also, we have an "As Seen On TV" store in our local mall. When you browse that store, you realize just how much junk there really is out there. It makes you want to be on the selling end rather than the consumer end of the stick.
That pan that lets you make those stuffed cream puffs seems pretty cool, tho.... My real fantasy is to own Esteban's guitar with the real easy lessons and become an expert guitarist. He makes it look so easy. I know I would master it in a couple of weeks....

I don't know but I like cosmetics and also some household items that make being in the kitchen a lot more easier I guess. The quicker the more powerful seems to be an agenda on everyone's mind when it comes to buying these types of things. I also like the those things that make storage solutions so much more easier. I mean we all need some organisation in our lives at one point or another.

I love watching those infomercials. Not that Im actually going to buy any.LOL They just have that quality in their clips that when you flip to that channel, you'd stay on it and check out whatever product they were offering. When there arent shows that appeal to my viewing appetite, I sometimes watch those infomercials as an alternative, and that's even when Ive already watched them a hundred times.
The items featured that Im interested to have would be those gym equipments or any of those weight related products like the Sauna Belt and the Ab Rocket. Im also interested in those flat iron/curling iron/brush wands or something like that.LOL I just have huge frizzy wavy hair that Id like to have a product that could make me tame it in just a matter of minutes.^_^

I would buy for both me and someone else. The bullet and the steamer and all of the Oreck products. I saw John Travolta on some show once saying he was addicting. He would have parties just so people could come over and try stuff out. He is so funny! If I were rich I would try all kinds of stuff.

Hey Bear! I am always fascinated by those stupid
Infomercials! I love to buy anything and everything which is
a part of my many addictions! What's the Magic Bullet? I can't
think of that one! My friend is a Manager at Staples and he
gave me some coupons and I bought the "sandpaper hair off stuff"
and the "chopper thingy" and never used either one yet!lol I
just thought I would get them because they were "free" so to
speak! They don't have the other stuff you mentioned! I just
love to buy anything and everything! I have to sit on my hands
when those Infomercials come on so I don't run and get my credit
cards! It helps if my boyfriend is still awake because he would
kill me if he saw me dialing the phone!

I was thinking that I was the only one but it is good to know there is someone out there just like me. I just purchased the Magic Bullet one month back so that is out of my shopping list. I really waited for that around 2 to 3 months and at last got it and yes I was very happy once I got it.

I'm an As Seen On TV junkie!!! I don't like taking my chances of buying direct off TV though as I fear my checking account being robbed. So, for the smaller items I check out my local Walgreen or Walmart & they carry a lot of the items as they have an As Seen On TV section in their store. If it's a larger or it's a rather expensive item, I go to Amazon.com. I read the reviews there & I check out the prices. The reviews give me an idea whether I really want to spend the money or not. I have found some GREAT prices at Amazon & they are still NEW items NOT used. Plus, if it's junk you get the Amazon guarantee. My most recent good ASOT buy was an Xpress Redi Set Go grill. Living alone, it is a GREAT way to cook me a meal without a lot of cleanup. If you're cooking for more than 2 people, I wouldn't suggest it, but for one or two it is PERFECT!!! I also saved about $20 by NOT buying it off of TV I'd love to have one of the Shark Steamers also so that may well be my next research & when I get my next paycheck I'll probably be getting one. Walmart had the hand held for $70, but I haven't looked it up yet & I didn't have the funds, so it will be another project.

Hi Bearballew,
I am not into pruchasing things online. i still prefer seeing the product, scrutinizing it before buying it. since malls are just near our place, i better go there and check for myself anything that i need that i see on tv.
