Morntime Playtime

The two are so funny in the morning. Last night, Cleo decided to sleep under the covers with me. Now that we're well into Autumn, nights are starting to get chilly. Opal was the only one to brave the night above the covers. So morning arrives, and I start to get out of bed, and as always, the two girls want to get up with me. This always gives them a brief 5 minutes play time as they spend wiping their faces, grinning at me, wriggling their bodies and general all over scratching. So Cleo tried to get out from under the covers, but every where Cleo heads, Opal just happens to be rolling in that direction through her early morning roly poly. Was quite funny to watch! Cleo finally finds an exit out from under the covers, and because she manages to escape, Opal playfully pounces on her! For a girl that turns 12 later this year, she certainly act like an 11 year old! I often wonder if everyone else has this much fun in the morning watching their furbabies playful wake up routine! :D

Hi Tiger I used to when there was Gissi and Cookie, my Sons previous Dog, I mean Gissi used to be walking about half asleep, he is terrible waking up in the Morning, when Cookie used to come charging down the Stairs and straight away start on Gissi, he favourite used to be is getting a Drink of Water, keeping a bit in her Mouth and dropping it on Gissi, which never used to impress him at all, he used to look at her as if to say "Grow up" he would then get on the Couch to try and go back to sleep and Cookie would jump up and bounce all over the Couch, it used to be so funny I mean Gissi didn't think so but I did lol

PMSL!!! A furbaby version of a water fight!! LOL I bet Gissi must miss Cookie a whole lot. When mum's little girl Susie was stolen, not only mum was devastated, we all were. Especially Cleo. Susie was Cleo's playmate for a long time when mum and I lived together, they adored each other, and when we walked them, they walked side by side like siamese twins, you'd swear they were connected at the hip and shoulder! It never fails to amaze me how Opal and Cleo play with each other despite the 5 year age gap :D

My two younger cats chase each other around a lot. Also the kids like to 'exercise' them. Dearra will run from one end of the house to the other, and Oreo will run with her.
