Do I need to confirm my account using a debit/credit card before I can receive money in my paypal? There would be charging $1.95 to my card for confirmation which they say would be then refunded back. Should I go ahead and let them charge my card? In how many days do they refund this amount?

Dear friend,
I do have done and got my account verified. Moreover it also gives more flexible options in transactions. Moreover I hope the paypal may see our account as something which genuine account holder. I had not yet the duration of refund they make. But until now all transaction went smoothly after all those indications of paypal was met. There where times I do also had to face some problems to transfer the money of my Indian bank now it is also solved.

you should get verified if you want to withdraw big amount of money at paypal if you want to withdraw small amount of money its ok. because paypal got withdrawal limit for unverified paypal member. paypal only allowed certain amount to withdraw from it for unverified paypal member. if you want to get verified you should confirm your account with your debit/credit card and it will deduct small amount of money from your card. hope this information helpful if you have more question feel free to ask to me. thanks happy mylotting.

Yes you can proceed. I have verified my paypal account in the same way and paypal returned my amount within one day as per its system. I don't know whether paypal has changed its policy or not. I would suggest you to write to paypal and paypal will reply with detail procedure.

Yes to verfiy you should allow them to charge USD 1.95 and within a month this USD 1.95 will be reflecting in your account.
