You gave me an idea, his color is tiger black but I don't wanna name him tigger cause I already use that in my past dog. Since black is near brown and I love chocolate very much, I am considering "CHOCO" but again I still want need to hear ideas from responses. Thanks for the response.

Naming is very important
We find difficulty in finding names
And the one which sticks to our mind we go for it
choosing a name for a "cat" is even more challenging
This celine species is known for its Cattie ness and not for its "cuteness"
Well to call a cat a cat is not good just like you cannot call a dog a dog
Dale carnegie told "give a name to a dog "
He did not have any suggestion for the CAT species and did not know about my lot it was not ther in his time
So what is in a name?
It is here that the relevance of this august saying comes to be recognised
Would you name it on some vamps say for short moroe or celeberity Oparah ?
How would they feel
monroe is gone but opartah is kicking and comin to India my country /
Well what is all this yoou wanted a name for your cat and I am dilating the topic
Decidedly you would not ilike it to be named after sonme male synonym
that woould be bizzare
What about "OLEE"
not bretlee?
or simply LEE ????
Call it titanic or most recent AVTAAR?
now what is the feminine of ascar?
Call he by that name
I would suggest ????
Well no suggeations
Call her SIMMI from SIM
Call her BRU NO OH NO???
well settle down for ".../,,,sprucy"
LOL
all the best in name choosing
I give up
call her HITLER NO?
or his stealth w....
?
NO NO NO NO
I surrender
well call her by whatever name you like she would remain a cat cat cat cat hahahahah?

"The naming of cats is a difficult matter,
It isn't just one of your holiday games..."
T.S. Elliot
It isn't just that the cat needs a name, it should "say" something about him.
It may say something about where he's from - I named Tony because I got him from San Antonio.
Then there's Ronnie, or actually Chevron, I rescued her from a Chevron gas station.
It may be something to honor someone - I named Timus after a the role played by a very nice man I met in May when I got him in August.

Or something about them reminds you of a character on TV. Rygel was named because when he was a kitten he loved to eat and from behind with those big white ears, he looked the the muppet, Rygel from Farscape
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominar_Rygel_XVI#Rygel
And then we got a "blue" cat and named her for a blue alien on the same show - Zhaan
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominar_Rygel_XVI#Zhaan
And some just reflect their personalities.
Sassy came to us 9 years ago with a back talking attitude and a lousy name - Blacky. Well, she IS black, but she's much more a Sassy than a Blacky.
Star was so named because she was once referred to as a "Siamese colored meteorite" and her full name is Shooting Star.
So, I'll give you a list of my cat's names and you can also check the Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats if you can't figure out a name for yourself...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Possum's_Book_of_Practical_Cats#Contents
Sassy, Scamp*, Shooting Star - Star, Rio, Timus*, Taj*, Chevron - Ronnie, Gabrielle - Gabby, Gizmo*, Ping* & Pong*, Solo*, Rygel*, Oliver*, Booboo*, Chalube*, Kit*, Rock Star - Roxie, Tuti and Nefer, Frankenkitty - Frankie*, Antonio - Tony*, Zhaan, Blossom, Flower, Elmer*, Emily, Elizabeth, Jool, Daisy
The ones with the "*" are male, and some, Frankie and Jool have gone to new homes

Can you tell more about him.. color..? what's he like... wild? sometimes that helps in thinking up a name.
I have had many cats and quite a few unique names..
my best for a boy was found when I ran out of names... And he was at the Vet and they but NO Name on his chart...
and I looked at it and said "I can work with that!" so I named him No-Na-Me' (or No Nah-May..)
but I have had many names i found good.. Little John, Slate, Nashua, Helios, Max, Phinny, Saffron, Brandis, Kohl, Domino, Rio, Silver, SPOT (lol), Chocolate Mousse -or just Moose..., Ares, Malachi, Ben, and BOY(i can't think of a name for him either and he is almost 1 yr old) those are just some of my boys!
maybe some of these will be able to help.
