Dishonesty could not be the best. The very first none affected by dishonesty is the person being cheat or lie.And maybe the last one who will be affected is the dishonest person oz the truth will always come out no matter how we hide it.

When you go with honesty, there is really no easy answer. I mean, I feel like I am honest, but that can be a problem at times. Some people swear up and down that they like honesty, but once you give the truth to it, they act like I am in the wrong. I mean, you said you wanted the truth and then you cannot handle the truth. So while ideally it is good to be honest, practically it is not the best idea as many people get offended when you get too honest.
On the other hand, its not a good idea to be dishonest either. That will catch up with you in an ugly fashion. People will catch you if you are dishonest. I find that you should not be either completely honest or utterly dishonest. Rather selective with the truth. Tell it but there are sometimes where we must omit parts of the truth to be safest but tell enough of it to be honest.

According to me, honesty is always the best policy. Dishonesty is always the worst policy. It doesn't last at all. However honesty will last even for your sons and daughters to come. You may think that a dishonest man may prosper but they are just like grasses that looks green under the rain but as the sun shines, they withered. For your concern you can study the history of successful men, they will always be descended from honest and loyal people. The fruits of honesty will always be awarded and dishonesty will always be punish, no matter how or when.
Todays world or the future or the past, honesty will always be the best. Politicians who are dishonest and corrupt may win an lection for a single or couple of times but they will never prosper and build their country.

It actually right in the Philippines because of the vote buying. It is wrong because of the morality side of things. You are right and wrong the same time. :)

I agree with you, yes DISHONESTY rules mostly to our nation. Many people around the globe doesn't really practice HONESTY as they turn out to DISHONESTY.

Hi Siliguri,
I shall have to disagree with you, though I do understand where you may be coming from with your idea.
Personally I hate dishonesty and being dishonest. I am always open with who I am and what I say, and though I am able to hold things back, I don't lie about it. I just skip elements of the truth so that people know I am not lying, but think I am mysterious instead. If you are just dishonest than people can never get close to the real you and I think that you will ultimately end up worse off than you would have been if you were honest.
That said if you live in a place where everyone around you is dishonest then you probably would have to be as well to make sure you weren't cheated out of everything.
But except for special circumstances I don't think dishonesty is the best policy, certainly not online where I definitely prefer honesty.
All the best,
Dranz

I think you'Re right. Dishonesty nowadays is the best policy. Lies are everywhere. Even the few honest people are being called liars cuz of it's public popularity. Well, if you'Re being called a liar, then why not lie as well.
