Robin Uthappa is more power striker of the bowl then Sehwag..?

By seeing his blasting performance in this IPL..i can say Robin Uthappa is much danger batsman then any other batsmen in indian team...including sehwag also ..He is retaining top position..in the no. of sixer..in IPL..and with the help of him..RCB can make its place in semis..
I think you might have same perception as i have..Please share your view here...?

Robin Uttapa is a sham cricketer. No technique nor any temperament to play at the highest level. Even during early times we had such wretched players representing India not out of merit but out of other considerations. Dont compare such useless players with quality players like sehwag

you say uthappa a useless player....no one in this world other than you will say this...even a 10 year old boy who has cricket knowledge will say uthappa is a good player...I won't compare with sehwag..sehwag is great..I agree..but how you just said uthappa is useless player...whether you know cricket...?

What about Pathan.. is he also better than Sehwag?..lol. These are indian pitches and conditions.. never rate any batsman as high as caliber of Virender Sehwag.. based on the performance here. I will agree with you in saying he is better than Sehwag if he can do the same on bouncy tracks overseas what he is doing here.. which even in wildest dreams he could not. While Sehwag will go on performing the same, does,'t mater he's playing on Indian pitches or New Zealand's bouncy tracks..

Hi Vipin,
As I said there is no comparison with Sehwag.
And comparing Uthappa with Sehwag is harsh. Let Uthappa be Uthappa and play like the way he does.
By the way, Sehwag was awarded Wisden Cricketer of the year for 2009. He had won it in 2008 also. That shows he is becoming consistent unlike his earlier days.

Hi Vipin,
I think you have not seen Uthappa playing in 2007 T20 world cup in South Africa. When India was down 4 wickets he played a scintillating knock of 50 against Pakistan. And played some other crucial knocks.
You think South African pitches are also like Indian Pitches?
I don't like to compare players.
But saying Uthappa is just a hitter and cannot play is not correct.
Of course, Sehwag is in his own league and there is no comparison. Not even with Gilchrist.
But Uthappa is also a good batsman. He is still young and inconsistent. But he has the talent and ability to be a good batsman.
Aggressive players tend to be inconsistent. Look at Adam Gilchrist in this IPL. Gilly is sure better player than what his statistics show him to be!

Robin Uthappa is a power hitter in the mould of Andrew Symonds. He will use power to muscle the ball over the boundary. But he is now returning to his top hitting form and it is such a big shame that he is not a part of the India's T20 setup. This could really hurt India's chances at the world cup.

sewhag is better than uthappa.sewag is just out of form recently.
uthappa is also good striker of bowl.

Robin Uthappa is really a good player..He is very much talented..but in the recent time he failed to do well but now he is coming out with great performance..But comparing with sehwag is somewhat I can't accept..Sehwag is very dangerous than uthappa...may be uthappa be powerful striker but sehwag is equal too him..We can't leave sehwag behind..

I think Sehwag is better than Uthappa...because he has more powerful striker than Uttapha.. because if we compare Sehwag to Uttapha.. then Sehwag is best because Sehwag played mostly good innings for indian team than Uttappa.. but Uttappa is also a good batsman..
