If you belong to a church, you will probably encounter your pastor in that church.Being apastor is not an easy job at all. Some people said that accoording to a statistic, there are three types of career experience the most stress in this world.1.Medical Doctor,2.Lawyer.3.Pastor.I think the pastor always have to deal with people and people has high expectation from a pastor all the times.Sometimes it is unrealistic since a a pastor is also a human and not God.He will be tired ,he needs to rest,he will still experience temptation and fall on the trap of sin as well.He has to prepare sermon, counsel others and pray for the church,He needs to take care of the church administration and teach Sunday School once a while.Wedding,funeral,conference,meeting,training...you name it.He ain't no superman but people always expeact him to be one. There are times He needs time for his family as well.Well,if you.ve been blessed by your pastor ,you need to thank God for that since your pastor is just so busy all the time and need to deal with whole bunch of difficult to deal with people and problems.Well,if you have some postive experience, why not share with us in here?

i have to agree a pastor is a hard job. i have met some i didnt like and others that i became good friends with for me being cathic. some that i didnt like was because they judge me.
well the one main one who i am so bless to have met when i was dealing with my whole bipolar thing and the lost of my faith. he made time to always to sit and talk with me about God, he said to me once i'm not here to change you from cathic to my faith, but to help you rebuild your faith with God. he and the friends who interdouce us i think very highly of.
and some of the others well i just dont talk to them

True pastors don't judge people, they don't have any right to, like all of us, we would be judged the way we do... They keep faith in their work and help out anyone who is willing to listen, and they treat everybody the same, the ones who judge, they are not being honest with God and with their work.

Amen to that. I think most people should realize that - that pastors / priests / Bible teachers are no superman, and just like any other human, they have their limits and imperfections. I thank God for these people - ever caring and ever faithful to their duties, serving others more than serving themselves. I think we ought to be more tolerant with their shortcomings. Sometimes they can get angry too, and make mistakes. It doesn't mean that they don't care anymore, or that they're "evil". I just think we should be more forgiving and understanding with each other - regular Christians and pastors alike.

It is true that a pastor is far from perfection but they awill alos help others to get closer to God and sherphed the sheeps of the church. The Sheeps will always have problem and sometimes can be hard to sherperd with.Because the sheeps will love to run their own way and not like to listen to the sherperd at all.So Sometimes the pastor will get hurt easily. But it is also hard for a spator to share their feeling with the sheeps because the sheeps won't be able to understand. If the sheeps can love and pray for their sherperd more and sudmissive to his Biblical teaching and live it out,it will be the greatest reward for a pastor in life.God bless you.

My gosh you're right. I didn't notice that. I just go to church to attend mass but i didn't really think of how a pastor lives his life.

When I was younger, I had a little fear of my pastor. Through him and his assistant pastor, I always knew that God could see whatever I did. And since I did bad things; when I went to church, I had a feeling that they knew. So I think this is good becuase it kept me from doing more and worse things, and could have kept me out of serious trouble, who knows. And the point is that both pastors were warm and friendly. But there was no doubt that they were men of God.

that is so true. Pastors are humans too and are also subject to trials and temptations. Sometimes they may not do all they preach but i think our focus should be on what they teach us and how we can use these teachings to become better people. Personally i have learnt much from my pastors personal experiences which they have shared with me.

It is true that a pastor will always experience temptation and attack from people and from Satan. That's why it is very important to have intercessors to keep praying for their pastor everyday. If there is no prayer shield surround the pastor, the devils attack can easily touch the pastor's life. Then the pastor will probably sin against God or forced to leave the church because of human attack from the church as well.So for sure we nned more prayer today for the pastor today so that they can keep on staying in the church to do the job as God required.Everytime when the sherperd was being attacked and forced to leave,so does the sheeps may leave and go astray as well.Satan's plan will always be the same : attack God's people and His church. So we have to dress uo the Armour in Ephesian 6 and fight the devil with prayer and attack the satanic kingdom in Jesus mighty name all the times.Spiritual warfare is going on at all times and no Christian can avoid that.So as Christians,we need to be brave and fight this spiritual battle in Jesus's name and we know that the battle and the victory will always belongs to God.

i agree with you
though i am only new to our church, i adore our pastor, he can really communicate with us and he is not afraid to expose his sins before to inspire others, i mean only few people could do that.
on top of that i really like the way he interact to each one of us as though we are his family
i thank God for his life and i really love God for making me this life
