is it really near the end?

I don't know if it really is the end or not. I'm not a real big believer of stuff that is said in the bible. I think that sometimes people pick and choose which parts of the bible they want to follow. It is a little scary that there have been so many earth quakes and hurricanes and bad weather. I wonder though if there are so many more or if it just seems like it because everyone is looking for signs of the world ending. I'm not stressing about it. If the world is truly ending, I don't see how we can stop an earth quake.

If I wake up on dec. 22, 2012 I'd probably say to myself, "FAIL".

Every five years or so, someone says exactly the same thing - there is nothing remarkable about recent events that would indicate an acceleration of the 'end times'. Although there is much said about this, I don't believe that we are supposed to be looking for these signs in this way. There have been wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes and terrible natural disasters since man first disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. The coming of Jesus was the MOST prophesied event in the Old Testament, yet the majority of Bible scholars of the time could not understand the full meanings of the prophecies, and could not accept that Jesus was the Messiah- we now understand them perfectly with hindsight... I believe that the same will be true of the second coming - the prophecies are there to prove that God is in control - not as a map for us to follow. When Christ comes again, we will understand fully, until then I would not waste any time worrying about it... you will only be disappointed, every generation has believed that Jesus was coming back in their lifetime - so far, they have all been wrong!

Yes, there is a lot of natural disasters that are happening right now. It looks like bad news and bad times are coming. Very bad times are coming. The world has some shifts in climate and perhaps Global Warming might be finally catching up to us in many ways, if you really look at things are happening. If you want to look for the signs, you can find them not doing good. However, I am sure if you go back though history, you can find similar periods of unrest and disaster. The world is still here. Of course, it could really end at any time whatsoever. We could go to bed tonight and that will be it. However, to see that there's any specific time where it might end is something that I am not going to completely belief. There might be signs there, but I'm sure that could be true for many times in history.

I think this year should be called the year of disaster...from tsunamis and those high-magnitude earthquakes. Perhaps God is using these tragedies to wake up our minds because a lot of people nowadays don't believe in God and that many are forgetting Him due to our busy lives. Maybe it's His way of saying, "My child, you are so busy that You've forgotten Me. Let me just remind you a bit."

Yes. it's very scary. The least we can do is pray and prepare for the worst.

The world is changing no doubt about that , a new begining, 2nd coming , the end ? Who knows for sure . The bible states fires winds rain earthquakes . It seems that the earthquakes are folowing what they call a ring of fire . The bible is also man written , who is to say that in the time it was written they werent going thru the same thing at the time we are now ? History does repeat itself and the earth is no different . I believe alot of this is brought on by man , we shoot holes in the atmosphere every time we send a shuttle up, gases from emissions eat the ozone , the list goes on . If this world is truley going to end ,lets hope it goes kaflooey and no one will know what hit them . If you giude your life by Revelations , your bound to be scared to all hell .Im hoping for a new begining , peace ,no more wars. people getting along, a better future .Maybe this is a wake up call, Christ is coming and he is pissed . Seven scrolls seven seals 6 have been broken ,biblically were screwed . Then again , God is a forgiving God , so change we must .

I surely believe something big is going to happen and I think its sooner then later. There are so many earthquakes and diasters happening all over the world its just a matter of time in my opinion. The world has been headed in the wrong direction for years now. How much more can the earth take with all the distruction such as air pollution, water pollution, animal cruelty, crimes againist others especially our precious children. It's is not the way the Lord wanted us to live our lives.

I think the end is not yet near. Every time a string of High Magnitude earth quakes hit the world people will say the end is near. I think the end is not yet near. We people make it near. With how we damage the world that makes the end of it near. If we don't make something to save the world we will make the end near.

well, I'm not sure. It has been really weird in recent years, the climate changed suddenly and many natural disaster happened. I think it's time that we paid for what we did to the earth. But I am still optimistic, I think it will all be over.
