A learner driver taking her 2nd lesson flipped her instructers car onto its roof, she hit a gatepost which sent it flying.
I find this concerning as I am almost of driving age. I am looking forward to learning to drive as soon as I can but now am more concerned.
Luckily no one was hurt and the crash was described as a freak incident. Apparently the instructor said "accidents happen".
So, what I am wondering:
1. How many of you have been involved in a car accident?
2. Is it scary at first to drive?
3. How many lessons did you have before you passed your test?
4. Did you have to take your driving test again?

Hi Phoenix, one of the biggest flaws comes when, in panic the learner actually steps on the accelerator instead of the brakes. I could learn it soon from Dad, i was kinda worried a little in the starting but hey it becomes cool after you start gaining control over the vehicle and gaining experience slowly. No friend i haven't had any accidents, i am not a well experienced either but i have grown quite confident now. I have yet to take a driving test but i am pretty sure i would pass it, used to ride with dad and have also driven in moderately less traffic conditions, just keep patience, handle things in a cool manner and you will do just fine.! :)

Well, hope I dont panic then :p I am looking forward to learning. However, not looking forward to being a designated driver ever. I think I might have my first lesson on private land as many driving schools where I am do that. My girlfriend is yet to take her test but still drives me around with her parents in the passenger seat :P
thanks :)
