This summer I shall be traveling to Canada. As part of my trip I would like to pop up to to the Rocky Mountains and Lake Louise.
On my travels in the past I have been to countries like Switzerland and Austria that have glorious looking mountains. In the cold winter I walked across the frozen lake that was featured in the movie of The Sound of Music.
I visited Romania a few years ago. I liked seeing a mountain there. I found that to be a bargain destination.
In my life I have walked up three different mountains: one in Norway, one in Australia and one in New Zealand.
I dream of visiting the Plitvice National Park in Croatia to see its picturesque lakes.
Do you like lakes?
Have you seen any mountains?
Would you or have you walked up any mountains?
Do you like lakes

What a topic you have asked Maxim!! I love going to these places. Lakes and mountains are some of the places where I can spend most of my time without any hesitation. I love this place. Recently, I have been to Mukeshwar. It's a mountain area. I saw lakes near by at Nainital also. Doing zipping and trekking is the most exciting tasks..I have seen many mountains and lakes in my life. And yet the journey is more. Yet to see more in future.

absolutely, maxima. lakes and mountains are a natural spots of beauty waiting to be savored and enjoyed. climbing mountains is a good way of enjoying nature. it also proves darwin's eagle's view as it relates to knowledge. lakes, sometimes offer cool spots to swim and fish. in my country, the philippines, there are so many mountains, even ranges. sad to say, however, many have lost their natural greenery. lakes on the other hand, except for a few, have been overfished, even dried over by pumping the water out for agriculture. as a consolation, there are still a few untrammeled by human excesses.

I really like mountain and lake. I hear from a friend Canada has a very beautiful lake and mountain but If I see the postcard I think Switzerland has the most beautiful mountain and really good sky spot. I seem you have already visited many beautiful place. I lived in Indonesia so I really interested in snow because we never had one here, so I hope someday I can go to Switzerland and touch that snow on my bare hand.

Hello my friend as I noticed you are very fond of traveling almost around the world. How nice to travel in different places like what you have been. I wish that I could travel like you. As you are asking about lakes and mountains, well i like them both because I am a nature lover. I like the mountain when I am in my native place coz it was a province so the nature is there already. There are lots of trees and also the rivers and at the nearby there are lakes which also good to see. I am a nature lover.

I live in a country where there are no high mountains or big lakes. Few years back, when I went to the Sates for work assignment, the colleagues there brought me to Lake Tahoe. It was winter then and all I could see was a giant layer of ice. There were even people skating on it. Anyway, I guess it must be a very pretty lake, and I like the environment there. Also, there was once I went to China. My Chinese friend brought me to a mountain which is one of their places of interest. The scenery was awesome! We eventually climbed, or rather, hiked to the top of the mountain.

I grew up in a place where my house was surrounded by mountains and lakes. I love the scenery and I love the fresh air coming from the breeze of the air. I have also experienced seeing a real owl when I was young and always see an eagle flying up in the air. I love those kinds of scenes and I love my hometown very much. Now that I am in the city nearer to the beach, I also love going to the beach. I also like to go there.

i like lakes and mountains... we had a weekend getaway and there was a small lake and we didn't pass up the chance to go and check it out and although it wasn't as spectacular as i expected it still a treat to see a clean lake very near Manila where everything seem to be poluted already. It just made me even more passionate about wanting to do something concrete to help save mother nature...

You brought me to the time when I was traveling to Bali, I remember this beautiful and tranquil lake called Lake Buyan. I guess it was the most peaceful place on earth. If I ever go back to Bali, I'll go visit the place. Anyways, yes, I like lakes for I dream to have a house overlooking it someday, but walking up the mountains; I don't think so. My physical condition doesn't support me for that kind of activity. I sure hope to give it a try someday.

I love nature a lot and can't resist not spending time with it. Especially river, lake, sea and mountains. Those were my favorite place to unwind and take rest. My house in the province is near in the mountain and walking distance with the river and ocean.

I think mountains are beautiful.
We don't have very much of that sort of terrain here so I haven't ever visited any major mountains but we do have the lake district with its hills and of course lakes.
Where I live is so flat that it is quite dramatic to drive to the areas where the land rises up on the horizon as you approach it.
When we drive up through cumbria on the way to scotland, the hills are purple in the background and always remind me of Tolkiens Iron Hills.
