I have a question to all money makers here.
I know, citizens and residents of some countries can not get paid via PayPal. But what about checks? Do your banks accept checks from a foreign country, especially from US?
Please help me to find out, I am really interested, because then I can target my advertising campaigns better. Thank you very much in advance!

Any bank check should be good for any other bank, anywhere in the world. The big BUT is the bank charges that you have to pay. Same goes for Western Union which has branches all over the world. The minimum fee is fifteen dollars for Western Union $100 transfer. Banks charge $35 on a local transfer, so a long distance obscure transfer could cost much more. Actually, a paper check is rarely sent abroad, a wire transfer is made instead.
Other money changers / money gram companies charge a hefty commission. Yes, it is technically possible but few internet companies will pay you this way. This is why PayPal is so popular.

Yes, a bank check SHOULD BE good for any other bank, anywhere in the world, that's the point. But there still are regimes of all kind, right? My country was occupied by SU, that's why I know it. In fact, when I started this discussion I had China in mind, a huge and mostly untapped market.
There are very good and trusted companies, which are paying via check only, and paper checks are sent abroad, though. As for fees - the banks are robbing us!
