Do you like colder climates or warmer climates? I live in Texas, but I think I prefer cooler climates. I think that it is much easier to keep warm, than it is to get cooler when you are hot. Of course, I don't really like extremely cold climates either. I think I would prefer the climate of a place like Hawaii, where it is never too hot and never too cold. How about you?

I hate both. I can't stand the heat, and I can't stand the cold. I guess I can tolerate cold a bit more, but I think I would prefer to live somewhere where it never snowed. I don't mind the cold so much because I don't go out more than I have to, but I really hate the snow, shoveling the driveway and cleaning off the car in the morning, and I can't ride my motorcycle.

When I was younger I would have said I prefer warmer climates. I used to like the heat. Now that I am older I can't stand extreme temperatures in either direction. I would prefer some place like Hawaii too where the climate is always perfect. Since snow comes with a cold climate I gues I would prefer a warmer one. I guess where I live is not too bad except for about 3 months a year when it is snowy cold and miserable. The rest of the year this is a fine place to live. I am hoping when we are retired we have enough money to get another home somewhere where is not so cold during those 3 months.

Hi, hmkoct5. I would rather be around the colder climate instead. I know that Texas can be pretty hot and that is why I don't want to live in this state. I agree, it is easier to get warm than it is to find some relief from the heat. It takes so much longer to try to get cool. I would like to live in Hawaii. I love the beautiful scenery and atmosphere of being on vacation here.

Oooh like rezz, I do enjoy warmer climate! I will use some of rezz's reason as they are my reasons going outside! It will let me play some sports that I enjoy such as Baseball, Basketball, and Football! Cold is okay but Usually when I'm cold it gets to me! But I would also like it not too hot or not too cold, just perfect for outside activites

Personally I like warmer weather. It gives me a chance to go outside and hang out with a few of my friends and talk to them. Also it gives me to really enjoy a cold treat under the hot sun. Another reason I like warmer weather is because it let's me play most of my favorite sports inside or outside. The warmer weather makes me happy because it lets me enjoy most things in life. -Rezz

I prefer somewhere between completely sunny and completely warm to be honest. I mean, there are times where I do enjoy the warm weather, but it can overwhelm you at times. Especially when it gets past a certain temperature. On the other hand, you could play a similar game with the cold and how that can be even more frustrating at times.
Still out of the two, I prefer the sun a lot more. For me, a little bit of snow goes a long way. I can be nice at times, but it tends to overstay its welcome around here. By about the end of December a couple of weeks into Winter, I am about ready to tell it good bye. So the sun for me would be the better choice but not too much sun, because that can give its own set of problems.

I prefer Cold climates because i think sun stuns and sears the mind to a point where you just become an useless person in life, sun destroys brain cells and that is proven scientifically, besides that who likes Sweat?
I know alot of people like the sun the sea and all that stuff, but that is only because they got nothing to do in their miserable life more than burning their low remaining brain cells...

Colder! I hate hot climates, is just bad and make me sick.
I hate where I live because of it, is so hot in here and never snows in here.
I wish I could live where snows, is so awesome!
I went once to a city where was snowing, and that was an amazing experience, can't wait to see again.

I live in Finland but ironically I'm one of those people who really can't stand cold :D I'd like a warm climate where the temperatures stay approximately the same throughout the year. I think freezing is much more uncomfortable than melting :D Luckily snow's starting to melt here and it'll be warmer soon :)

I like most weather but I like it to be at the right of year - so if it's winter I am happy for it to be cold and snowing. If it's summer then I want it to be warm and sunny but it often isn't (I live in England)! I mainly like clear, bright days. Ones where there is no threat of rain and you can see hen blue sky. For some reason I feel more optimistic on days like that and I feel like doing more. Those days don't have to be particularly hot, just warmish is fine by me.

I've lived in Texas all my life, from Dallas to the coast, with the exception of almost 4 yrs ('05 - '09) when I lived in Pennsylvania. I can say, I would rather be here in Texas than in the snow country lol. I actually got used to it fairly quickly, but still like it down here better. I was snowed in for 9 days one time, had to walk to the local grocery store. It was fun the first winter, but after that, it was just 'oh great, gotta get out the shovel'. I've never minded the hot weather.

i hate hot climate! most places in our country are very hot and temperatures up to 40 degrees celcius and above are common in many places. i really don't like this hot climate here. but there are also cool and cold places like the northern and northeastern parts of our country. it's because these parts lie along the great himalaya ranges. i've never been to extremely cold places and have never seen snow. i prefer cooler and colder climates than this extreme heat out here.
climate in my native place, the northeast, is moderate to hot in summer(not like the rest of the country where it's too hot), and cold in winter with temperatures reaching close to 0 degree celcius. as a matter of fact, i like the climate of our region.

snow is nice because it is cool but can be dangerous because of frost bite and sun is good because it is warm but can cause skin cancer in fair skin people
